08:46 rns A couple of usage examples of Marpa::R2 parse events in a follow up a stackoverflow question about rejecting an identifier if it is a keyword -- http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27109840/marpa-can-i-explicitly-disallow-keywords-as-identifiers/27120210#comment48341736_27120210
08:48 rns One example uses a pre-lexeme event -- https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/Marpa-R2/pod/Event.pod#Pre-lexeme-events -- to throw an exception when an identifier matches a keyword.
08:51 rns The other uses marker events -- https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/Marpa-R2/pod/Event.pod#Markers -- to handle start and end of an input span matched by a part of prioritized rule and issue a warning.

10:58 jdurand Re http://irclog.perlgeek.de/marpa/2015-05-13#i_10594003 - their perl seems to have left-overs of a previous installation in the PATH - I'd not worry
13:46 Cheery I read about incremental lexing in harmonia project.
13:47 Cheery seemed like simple.

17:32 jeffreykegler I think I will embed Lua into Kollos
17:32 jeffreykegler (Right now I link to it)
17:33 jeffreykegler Reading the LuaJIT docs this is not an obstacle to using LuaJIT
17:34 jeffreykegler See "Embedding Lua BitOp" in http://bitop.luajit.org/install.html
17:34 jeffreykegler Comments and insights welcome

21:27 idiosyncrat Lua 5.1.5 and LuaJIT compatible bit operations embedded into Kollos and tested
21:27 idiosyncrat My motive for tackling this at this point, btw, was the bit operations, which I am starting to need.
21:28 idiosyncrat The bit library was written by Mike Pall and they are supposed to be API-compatible with his LuaJIT --
21:28 idiosyncrat relink with the LuaJIT and it replaces them with something even faster.
