04:03 jeffreykegler As testimony to how much I like Lua, I think it is even worth putting up with 1-based arrays. :-)

07:19 ronsavage If Lua is so good, why not write a source filter that let's you code in 0 based arrays. Hahaha.
07:43 Cheery because it'd be very disorienting?

15:34 jeffreykegler Here's how I currently see the Kollos tasks.
15:34 jeffreykegler 1.) Get the KLOL (Kollos lower layer) going.  I am currently doing this, and it is going very well.
15:35 jeffreykegler 2.) Simultaneously.  Get a draft LUIF document ready, circulate and produce a "final" version.  rns is now doing this.
15:36 jeffreykegler 3.) Finish the KHIL (Kollos higher layer).
15:36 jeffreykegler 4.) Port the Marpa::R2 test suite to Kollos.  Doing this should get all the kinks straightened and bugs worked out.
15:38 jeffreykegler 5.) Fork Kollos's version of Libmarpa, and simplify it -- 2 symbol RHS's, no nullable symbols or rules, no external/internal symbols/rules, eliminate deprecated features, etc., etc.
15:38 jeffreykegler 6.) Strand parsing!

22:51 ronsavage jk: So strand parsing comes before a public release?
23:17 jeffreykegler ronsavage: probably not.
