10:48 jdurand I am rediscovering one of the oldest perl keywords: "require" ! A well designed module can benefit very much when you "require" because you do not need to import anything.
10:49 jdurand Ok, for instance, I was tempted since months to always do "use Types::Standard -all" for example - this is just a catastophy a load time (do a profiling of your module and look to the time spent in the BEGIN section -;)

22:43 ronsavage I use it in the form 'use Types::Standard qw/Any Bool Int Str/;' but never with '-all'. I always explicitly list the types I want. Still, I did not consider the time it takes to load.
