17:41 idiosyncrat_ Any suggestions for good Perl exception-handling code/methods to study?
17:42 idiosyncrat_ I know Damien has lots of suggestions, but I'm interested in more recent stuff and stuff Marpa community members like and/or use.
17:43 idiosyncrat_ Marpa::R3 is now Perl 5.10.1+ only, which means I can rely on a Carp which handles objects, not just strings.
17:43 idiosyncrat_ So now is the time to start doing exceptions right.
17:43 idiosyncrat_ jdurand: I know you've studied these matters.

18:15 jdurand Re http://irclog.perlgeek.de/marpa/2016-05-08#i_12450720 - IMHO, Try::Tiny
18:19 jdurand FYI in my lengthy work to provide another C-like interface on trop of libmarpa, I have been working on all the generic layers neede to have something robust.
18:20 jdurand First cam a "generic Logger" - done
18:20 jdurand "came"
18:20 jdurand Then a "generic Character Conversion" layer - done
18:20 jdurand Now a "generic Stack" layer - easy to do and most funny - being done
18:21 jdurand and finally back to my marpaWrapper with all these pieces, the core of marpaWrapper being already done and truely robust
18:21 jdurand See ya - I am backlogging from time to time... AFK

18:43 jdurand Ntw, you might be interested to use travis (https://travis-ci.org): you will get a free build on an Ubuntu virtual machine for free - quite impressive service - c.f. https://travis-ci.org/jddurand/c-tconv as an example
18:43 jdurand "Btw", sorry for the typos
