03:01 idiosyncrat_ I've just uploaded Marpa-R3-4.001_015, which I hope contains the fix to the "bad op" problem.
03:04 idiosyncrat_ so far 11 of 11 are PASS, including 2 freebsd tests, so this release is a big improvement over Marpa-R3-4.001_014
03:06 ronsavage All tests pass here on the Definitive OS.
03:07 idiosyncrat_ What is the Definitive OS?

03:20 rns re Marpa-R3-4.001_015 -- cygwin and windows xp ok, windows 7 not ok due to lack of cygwin's cp used in engine/Makefile.PL -- testing a fix now.
03:37 rns the failure is this cpantesters report -- http://fast-matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Marpa-R3%204.001_015;os=mswin32;perl=5.22.1;reports=1 -- should be fixed in this PR -- PR https://github.com/jeffreykegler/Marpa--R3/pull/36
03:40 rns AFK, will backlog.

17:57 idiosyncrat_ https://github.com/jeffreykegler/Marpa--R3/blob/master/cpan/xlua/init.lua.md
17:57 idiosyncrat_ I'm adding some literate programming into Marpa::R3
17:58 idiosyncrat_ It's a system I created inside Kollos -- it takes a Markdown document and allows it to be converted to any text files.
17:59 idiosyncrat_ It is, and will remain, Lua-centric, but the "code" is treated as text and I expect to eventually extend it to allow C, Perl, etc., etc.
18:00 idiosyncrat_ The "weave" side -- creating the documentation -- is left to be done by markdown tools -- the source file is straight markdown ...
18:01 idiosyncrat_ and the "code" is in displays.
18:02 idiosyncrat_ One improvement of this over other systems, to my mind, is that other systems (POD, Web) force the writing and display of the documentation into forms suitable for a finished, polished document.
18:04 idiosyncrat_ Knuth's CWeb is particularly restrictive in that -- Don's code seems to emerge straight from his mind as a more or less finished, publishable, book.
18:04 idiosyncrat_ That's not the case with me. :-)
18:06 idiosyncrat_ And this Kollos/Lua/Markdown system (which I've yet to name) allows the code and commentary to be written in a more diary-like form, where structure gets added as you go along.
