01:38 Idiosyncrat If a volunteer wants to help me, they could look into a possible issue with the past few releases of Marpa::R3
01:39 Idiosyncrat I believe the above cpantesters reports (one of a series) is not Marpa's fault but due to the test installation.
01:40 Idiosyncrat The problem message (I think)  is
01:41 Idiosyncrat "# Data::Dumper version 2.125 required--this is only version 2.124 at /home/cpan/pit/thr/conf/perl-5.10.1/.cpanplus/5.10.1/build/VdinnJONSU/Marpa-R3-4.001_022/blib/lib/Marpa/R3/Version.pm line 10."
01:41 Idiosyncrat I believe I've stated that Data::Dumper is required so that the testers should be providing it or reporting N/A
01:42 Idiosyncrat The task, should someone care to accept it:
01:46 Idiosyncrat 1.) Study the issue, and confirm I'm correct and that it is not a Marpa::R3 problem.  (Or tell me that I've screwed up.)
01:46 Idiosyncrat 2.) If it's the testers fault, follow up with them on and/or on perl.cpan.testers.discuss
01:46 Idiosyncrat I don't know why I require 2.125 (I've since learned to whenever I require a version beyond the minimum to record the reason, but I didn't back then)
01:46 Idiosyncrat I could try seeing if 2.124 is OK, but it could break Marpa::R3 in subtle ways and I don't think it makes sense to risk Marpa::R3 breakage to work around minor tester breakage

15:37 PatrickHuber has anyone seen this paper on context sensitive languages and the Earley algorithm? https://web.archive.org/web/20110708224600/https://danielmattosroberts.com/earley/context-sensitive-earley.pdf
15:38 PatrickHuber seems like a interesting idea to expand the sphere of languages that can be recognized
15:50 PatrickHuber Founding it when browsing the wikipedia article on context sensitive languages https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Context-sensitive_grammar

19:15 pczarn PatrickHuber: the paper talks about data-dependent grammars.
