05:00 jdurand Hello Jeffrey - I was looking to the valuator steps by step documentation: the MARPA_STEP_NULLING_SYMBOL step is called for every symbol that produces a null token during valuation right ? Then it applies potentially to any symbol for which marpa_g_symbol_is_nullable() return 1. Therefore I have the feeling that this step could have been aliases to an hypothetical MARPA_STEP_NULLABLE_SYMBOL  - am I right ? Thanks!

05:31 idiosyncrat_ Inside Libmarpa all nullable symbols are nulling, due to rewrites.
05:35 idiosyncrat_ I think my idea in the naming was that "nullable" means potentially nulling, so that you could think MARPA_STEP_NULLABLE_SYMBOL occurs when a nullable symbol occurs, whether it is actually nulled or not.
05:35 idiosyncrat_ MARPA_STEP_NULLING_SYMBOL only occurs when the symbol is actually nulled.
05:39 idiosyncrat_ It might better have been called MARPA_STEP_NULLED_SYMBOL perhaps, but I think I was trying to limit the vocabulary, and didn't want to get into "nulled" vs. "nullable" vs. "nulling".
06:05 idiosyncrat_ Good night!
