18:08 idiosyncrat_ I've just uploaded Marpa-R3-4.001_030 -- still no new features, but getting there!
18:09 idiosyncrat_ One minor change: Marpa tracks newlines for line numbering purposes -- mainly for error messages.
18:09 idiosyncrat_ In Marpa::R2, these are tracked according to the Unicode standard, which is a superset including both UNIX and Windows-style newlines.
18:10 idiosyncrat_ In Marpa::R3 newlines are recognized by your native Perl, and follow its standards.
18:10 idiosyncrat_ I'm moving all string processing from XS/Kollos, etc., up into Perl, and this change is a consequence.
20:01 idiosyncrat_ Mostly PASS on cpantesters for Marpa-R3-4.001_030, but ~6 FAILs on Andrea Koenig's setups.
20:02 idiosyncrat_ Andreas often uses his setups for blead-testing of core module updates and new Perl's, perhaps that's it.
20:04 idiosyncrat_ When the actual test reports come up, I may know more.
