00:49 perlbot cheak_o pasted a new file at https://perlbot.pl/p/zamjld - A broken basic example.
00:50 cheako I think I need to read more about separator, I assume it exists to handle the case where X is expected n-1 times?
01:26 ronsavage cheako: The only code I have which uses a separator makes them a single char.

16:54 cheako I was unable to find a good description of the separator adverb.  Perhaps what I'm looking for is simply how to parse words from a single bash command, where there is "X ~ [ \t]+" needed n -1 times where n is the number of words.
16:59 perlbot cheak_o pasted a new file at https://perlbot.pl/p/oukhd1 - Simple parse words, FAIL.

19:27 cheako One problem identified, the versions in Debian are old.  2.086000  https://packages.qa.debian.org/libm/libmarpa-r2-perl.html  neither the documentation pod or the man page for  Marpa::R2::Scanless::G mentions parse.

22:51 ronsavage I run Debian. But: You /really/ need to install perlbrew and then perl-5.24.2 (or you could chance perl-5.26.0), and the Marpa::R2 V 4.000000. Start with https://metacpan.org/release/App-perlbrew. I do not use local::lib, although some programmers do. Perlbrew is so good I can't see the point of local::lib. I also always use App::cpanminus. Check App::cpanoutdated too.
22:55 ronsavage And App::PMUtils.
