01:44 spacebat hi, I'm wondering how to search for the modules that a distribution provides
01:46 spacebat there's metadata.provides in the /v0/release/_search, but my ES query fu seems quite inadequate to get at it
01:47 spacebat MetaCPAN::API doesn't seem to provide a clear way to get this data either - guess I'm missing something obvious
01:54 spacebat oh, could be that pmtools simply doesn't have a provides, whereas for example RDF-Trine does
01:54 spacebat yet pmtools ships with Devel::Loaded, I guess this is broken package metadata

16:06 mst spacebat: not all dists have their provides key filled in META.yml
16:06 mst spacebat: however I thought metacpan indexed them as well

18:19 rwstauner spacebat, mst: you can't search for things beneath 'metadata'... that key is a slurp of the META file but the properties aren't indexed so you can't use them in search
18:20 rwstauner however, there is a top-level 'provides' key
18:24 rwstauner pmtools was last released before we added the top-level 'provides', so it wasn't there before, but i just reindexed that one and it is there now
