08:35 omega oalders: I was thinking of ways to solve perldelta/github/anything, and I was thinking of changing link_issues vmethod on each request, but I'm not sure if that is possible with Template::Alloy?

10:27 omega is it just because it is very fresh dist?

12:11 dolmen How can I see who ++-ed my dist?
12:19 dolmen Is it even possible (without browsing the profile of every CPAN author) ?
12:35 dolmen When I look at my own profile at https://api.metacpan.org/user I can't figure out where the identity.extra.bio comes from... Any idea?
12:42 ranguard dolmen: https://github.com/CPAN-API/metacpan-examples/blob/master/scripts/endpoints/favorite/6-list-plussers-by-module.pl

12:42 ranguard says names of 'PAUSE' authors in the POD <- oalders ^^ - is that right?
12:43 ranguard oalders: or more to the point why only pause authors?
12:45 dolmen ranguard: the script above uses MetaCPAN::Util. Where can I find this module? It is not on CPAN...
12:47 dolmen ranguard: ok, found it
12:58 ranguard :)
13:12 dolmen can't run the scripts : WWW::Curl fails to install :(
13:13 * dolmen is installing curl-config...
13:16 dolmen carton packaging does not help for that...
13:20 dolmen dependencies installed.
13:20 dolmen Now carton complains: exec -Ilib is deprecated. Just run the following command with -I.
13:23 dolmen Gave up with carton. Installing all dependencies in my local::lib: https://gist.github.com/dolmen/6193443

13:28 dolmen carton issue just reported https://github.com/CPAN-API/metacpan-examples/issues/5
13:28 dipsy [ bin/carton doesn't work with Carton v1.0.5 · Issue #5 · CPAN-API/metacpan-examples · GitHub ]
13:30 ranguard dolmen: thanks for reporting
13:31 dolmen I've pinged myagawa about the issue on #toolchain
13:34 ranguard nice :)
13:39 ribasushi bricas: ping?
15:10 oalders omega: maybe we could pre-process the docs rather than using vmethods
15:10 oalders ranguard: it's only PAUSE authors because we don't have proper information on users who aren't PAUSE authors
15:11 oalders and access to the user table is restricted via the public api
15:11 oalders tokens etc are stored there
15:11 oalders that's why the next step would be to get non-PAUSE users to get their own profile pages
15:11 oalders so we know more about them :)

17:32 bricas ribasushi: here
17:34 ribasushi bricas: as someone with vested interest was wondering what you think of https://github.com/bricas/cpan-changes/pull/14
17:34 dipsy [ Add support for DBIx::Class "nested" Changes files by omega · Pull Request #14 · bricas/cpan-changes · GitHub ]
17:34 ribasushi :)
17:34 bricas ribasushi: ah yes. that.
17:34 ribasushi bricas: I think that adding an extra relaxed spec is a bad idea, I'd go for the second suggestion omega made - that is preserve WS if you don'yt understand it / on option
17:36 bricas my gut feeling is that the modification to group parsing is not going to fly, but nested change lines is something that needs to be considered.
17:36 ribasushi bricas: I am not in a hurry to fix it, I more wanted to hear what you think
17:37 ribasushi right ok, so same page then
17:37 bricas yea
17:38 haarg kind of hard to have a relaxed spec when all it says about the changes content is 'it's indented'
17:38 ribasushi "it must evaluate to valid python" :)
17:38 bricas heh
