01:03 omega thaljef: since you are here, if you would consider using the CPAN::Changes spec for your Changes file, it would render better on the release page :)

02:38 ether there's a dzil plugin that adds a release test against the spec - [Test::CPAN::Changes]
02:43 mo bowtie: you can check the dependencies for stuff like XSLoader and friends
02:50 mo talexb: we need those scripts to live in the cpan-api repository. Have a look at https://github.com/CPAN-API/cpan-api/blob/master/lib/MetaCPAN/Script/Backup.pm, you can use that as a template for your sitemap work

18:41 mauke hi, metacpan is driving me crazy
18:44 mauke there's a "Sign in" "link"
18:44 mauke actually a drop-down menu that offers the following list of options: facebook, github, twitter, google
18:45 mauke I have a github account, so I click on github
18:45 mauke now a cog wheel thing appears
18:46 mauke I click on it and it tells me: "Error - In order to change your profile you have to connect your account to PAUSE."
18:47 mauke so I do that, and it asks me for me PAUSE ID. I enter it.
18:47 mauke 10 minutes later I get an email containing a link to https://api.metacpan.org/login/pause?code=$long_hex_string
18:48 oalders this comes up every so often
18:48 oalders it's usually a sign out of your account and delete cookies kind of thing
18:48 oalders i wish i knew what the actual problem is
18:48 mauke when I click on it, I get redirected to https://api.metacpan.org/user and the document it displays is some kind of plain text in JSON format
18:48 mauke it has an "id" and an "access_token" but I have no idea what to do with it
18:49 oalders yeah, there are open issues for that as well
18:49 oalders so, are you logged in now?
18:49 mauke yes, I did the github thing again
19:03 mauke metacpan doesn't remember the emails it sends
19:03 mauke I clicked on Profile three times 10 minutes ago and now I have 3 emails in my inbox
19:04 mauke and of course it still doesn't do shit
19:05 mauke what does this Profile thing even do?
19:05 mauke or rather, what is it supposed to do?
19:08 oalders lets you add info to your author page
19:08 oalders ++ modules etc
19:08 dipsy Thanks!
