10:21 alh Is there a way to view author/maintainers of a package?
10:31 mo alh: http://api.metacpan.org/module/Moose?fields=author ?
10:33 daxim joined #metacpan
10:34 alh That gives author, what about comaint?
10:35 alh I guess RT actually shows that info, so maybe that's enough
10:35 mo we haven't indexed the 06perms file yet
10:35 alh Gotchya
10:35 mo but you can scroll through http://api.metacpan.org/search/history/module/Moose?fields=author&size=100
10:36 mo and find all authors who ever released Moose
10:36 alh Thanks

16:19 ether I usually use:  https://rt.cpan.org/Dist/ByMaintainer.html?Name=PAUSEID
16:19 dipsy [ Unable to find user ]
16:20 ether that's the per-author list --- but the RT queue page for a dist lists all maintainers
16:20 ether if an author has perms on some modules but not all for a dist, they won't show up
16:20 ether so for that you'll need to query PAUSE itself - at pause.perl.org
16:20 alh ether: Yeah, that'll do
16:20 alh For now anyway :)

18:12 ranguard dpetrov / oalders mcpan.org fully transfered, I've just setup the DNS to be with pairnic - so hopefully I didn't break anything (give it a few hours to propogate and we'll see!)
18:12 oalders ranguard++ dpetrov++
18:13 ranguard dig mcpan.org NS5.PAIRNIC.COM  <- seems ok :)
18:19 talexb pairnic++ -- that's what I use too. :)
18:20 ranguard talexb: their web interface could do with a lot of love - but it's great they are doing this for free
18:20 oalders ranguard: i'm seeing 173.239.45.5 for mcpan.org via pairnic nameservers. that can't be right?
18:20 * ranguard still uses gandi.net
18:20 talexb ranguard, It's been cleaned up, but it still looks 2002 -- I agree. :)
18:21 ranguard oalders: that's what it was before?
18:22 * talexb is also seeing 173.239.45.5 locally.
18:23 oalders ranguard: sure, but it's not right ;)
18:23 oalders i mean, maybe dpetrov has some forwarding going on
18:23 oalders but that will go away
18:23 oalders i would think it needs the same IP as the other sites on our box
18:24 oalders that ip brings me to a web hosting company
18:25 ranguard oalders: what should it be - cname for www.metacpan.org ?
18:25 * talexb and from my web server account, same thing.
18:25 oalders ranguard: yeah, a CNAME is probably the most appropriate
18:26 oalders it'll be CNAME -> www.metacpan.org -> metacpan.org
18:26 ranguard doh, it has to be an A record (for mcpan.org - will cname www.mcpan.org to sco.metacpan.org)
18:26 oalders ah, right, you need a hostname for the CNAME
18:27 oalders well, nobody uses www.mcpan.org, so in this case maybe just the A record?
18:28 ranguard dig mcpan.org NS6.PAIRNIC.COM  <- ok ?
18:29 oalders yep :)
