10:18 kentnl haarg, rwstauner  there's also Bistream Vera Sans Mono
10:19 kentnl And I see Andale Mono and Liberation Mono a bit too.
10:20 kentnl though no opinion if any of them are "Decent". It just depends.
10:23 kentnl Dejavu does render better than BSV though.
10:24 kentnl https://metacpan.org/release/constant-tiny # I'm trying to work out why this says "provides" here.

20:54 rwstauner yeah, the Liberation fonts are common... i think those come from redhat something at some point
20:57 rwstauner kentnl: surprisingly Module::Metadata returns it
20:58 rwstauner oh, i wonder if it's b/c it sets $constant::VERSION
20:59 rwstauner yep
20:59 rwstauner looks like it
21:00 rwstauner i wonder what PAUSE does with that
21:02 vroom joined #metacpan
21:38 ether yeah, Module::Metadata finds assignments to global variables and takes that as "this namespace is represented here"
21:38 ether which I find dubious
21:52 rwstauner yeah, it sucks b/c in this case the package # comment \n trick was used, but finding the var then invalidates that
21:53 rwstauner making MM say "if ! package_newline trick" sounds like a fun way to handle that :-/
