18:45 gtodd is it a buglet in metacpan that links like: https://metacpan.org/news%23liquidwebissponsoringmetacpan  can't be found?   It seems that "#" is needed and the urlencoded doesn't work
18:46 ether that's how HTML works
18:46 ether if you urlencode the #, it won't be interpreted as an anchor, but as a literal character in the path.
18:47 gtodd hmm ok so it's my aggregator that should skip that
18:48 gtodd one other thing I  noticed is that the feed generates links like <rdf:li rdf:resource="http://metacpan.org/news#Liquid Web is Sponsoring MetaCPAN" />  but the page has the after "#" bit whitespace stripped and lc()'ed
18:48 Ptolemarch joined #metacpan
18:49 gtodd so we see:  https://metacpan.org/news#liquidwebissponsoringmetacpan  on the page and <rdf:li rdf:resource="http://metacpan.org/news#Liquid Web is Sponsoring MetaCPAN" /> in the feed .... wasn't sure if that was the desired output
18:51 gtodd since the little bookmarket-ish thingies on the page read:  <h2 id="liquidwebissponsoringmetacpan">
18:53 gtodd anyway I could just put the above in an issue if it is one ... here I guess:   https://github.com/CPAN-API/metacpan-web
