10:14 osfabibisi hmm, metacpan doesn't let you login with bitcard, or whatever the perl thingy is
10:45 ranguard osfabibisi: patches welcome :)
10:46 osfabibisi yeah, was just surprised.  But I guess bitcard isn't widely used these days, so fair enough :-)
10:47 * ranguard nods

18:10 ranguard mickey: is there any value to still supporting 'source' ?
18:11 mickey as the parameter name? it doesn't matter... we can call it anything
18:12 mickey as a functionality it's also an ES thing... so why not?
18:12 ranguard at all, if it can come from  $c->req->data ?
18:12 ranguard ahh, ok, that answers it :)
18:12 ranguard just wanted to make sure it wasn't being added for backward compat only
18:12 mickey req->data will only be with POST requsets, me thinks
18:12 * ranguard nods
18:12 ranguard :)
18:13 mickey this thing is a solution for GET
18:13 ranguard cool, :)
18:16 * ranguard is chuffed with the fastly caching stuff, once that's live and we give better search results I'd be happy to say we could handle s.c.o's traffic
18:17 ranguard (which at last check was well over 10x our's)
18:17 ranguard reyjrar: how did the hacking go lastnight :) ?

22:11 reyjrar ranguard: good, almost done, should have something up on github, if not CPAN this weekend
22:12 reyjrar Parse logs with Perl, use Module::Pluggable to allow you to parse logs with Perl instead of creating stupid DSLs for log parsing
22:13 * reyjrar cannot overstate how much he hates logstash.
22:14 reyjrar "We made this DSL that does everything we thought was important and then just hack ruby into the config file for anything we missed."
