20:47 grantm I've just been trying out the /v1 API and noticed that in the JSON field values are represented as arrays rather than simple scalars, is that deliberate?
20:47 grantm Example: https://gist.github.com/grantm/2f4b262677c329438f3b9c42dba827b2

21:22 ranguard grantm: I believe it is deliberate...
21:23 ranguard mickey: ^^ can you confirm?
21:49 mickey this is an ES thing
21:52 grantm mickey: so new version of ES?
22:06 mickey i think it's from 1.x
22:07 mickey v1 is 2.4.0
22:08 grantm So is there a way to disable that in my query or should I just code around it when dissecting the response?
22:10 mickey don't know of a way to do it through the query, we have code around it
22:23 grantm OK, thanks for your help.
