05:55 mortisha i'm using MetaCPAN::Client->new->author which is supposed to let me iterate through all author records, but i'm noticing some authors aren't returned in the resultset.
05:55 mortisha here's an example: https://fastapi.metacpan.org/v1/author/ADAMZ
05:56 mortisha the only difference i see between the returned authors is the field `is_pause_custodial_account` is included
06:02 mortisha this seems to be a transient problem. it happens about 30% of the time. is one server not properly synced?
07:46 ranguard mickey: https://github.com/metacpan/metacpan-puppet/blob/master/modules/metacpan/manifests/init.pp - you can add it in there

10:16 davorg ranguard: Oh. Cool. I had visions of the badges not working for months.
10:16 davorg I must have noticed it pretty much instantly then.
10:17 davorg The project seems to have rather a backlog of PRs though. Not sure how quickly it will be merged.

19:55 ranguard oalders: ok, so I'm an Alfred power user (aka I've payed $$$) - what are the workflows I should be installing :) ?
20:00 ranguard oh look, there goes my evening faffing with settings
20:01 oalders ranguard: congrats!  first off, you could poke around http://www.packal.org/
20:04 oalders Some workflows I like are "Currency Converter", "Dash", "Kill Process", "meta::cpan" and "Font Awesome"
20:05 oalders The one I use most is meta::cpan, though.  I'd pay the license just for that.
20:06 ranguard oalders: heh http://www.packal.org/search/site/kill%2520process - boom
20:07 oalders heh. search not working well today :)
20:07 ranguard where's the meta::cpan one?
20:07 oalders http://www.packal.org/workflow/kill-process
20:08 oalders ranguard: just grab it from github https://github.com/handlename/alfred-metacpan-workflow/releases
20:08 oalders do you have Go installed?
20:08 ranguard don't think so
20:09 oalders Just "brew install go" if you need to
20:10 ranguard oh, guess I must have played as some point - working :)
20:10 oalders \o/
20:13 ranguard oalders: anyway use the auto-complete list to not have to type out full thing... e.g.
20:13 ranguard Cata -> select Catalyst so I can then type `::Action`..
20:14 jberger doesn't go produce self-contained binaries?
20:14 oalders jberger: good question. i have no idea.
20:15 preaction yes
20:15 oalders TIL
20:15 oalders ranguard: are you making a feature suggestion re: autocomplete?
20:16 ranguard oalders: possibly - just checking I haven't missed something that's already there?
20:16 oalders ranguard: i don't know if the workflows generally support that
20:17 ranguard ahh
20:17 oalders but i could be very wrong.  tried it with a different one and tab does nothing
20:17 oalders i think basically a workflow just produces some XML that is used to create the list of items
20:18 ranguard was just instantly what I wanted to jump to long named module :)
20:18 oalders :)
20:19 oalders i can tell you write code because you got this awesome new feature and you already don't like it ;)
20:19 ranguard very true :)
20:20 ranguard I have now removed everything from my dock and made it as small as possible as can't see needing it for anything now
20:20 oalders Alfred is a great app launcher
