12:19 lichtkind can please tell me someone who is graham knop?
12:19 haarg o/
12:22 lichtkind great im the perldoc guy
12:22 lichtkind just wanted ask in which way you wanted input or contribute
12:22 haarg i'm kind of unclear on what your plans are
12:23 lichtkind well than my blog ost was not good enough
12:23 lichtkind but first i want make a rewrite other can contribute to
12:23 lichtkind but you had more ideas enhancing POD ?
12:24 haarg like, perldoc.perl.org and metacpan don't use perldoc, and perldoc.perl.org's indexing stuff isn't driven by X<> tags
12:24 lichtkind stage first rewrite , than implement the features i posted third enhance POD
12:25 haarg what parts do you want to rewrite?
12:26 lichtkind i just came here to make sure your ideas get fully captured and your tuits too :)
12:26 lichtkind all of it since part of the problem its one blob
12:26 haarg "all of it"
12:26 lichtkind but parsing POD is other pmodule
12:26 lichtkind with all i mean the module pod::perldoc
12:29 haarg i'm not really sold on a rewrite because it's unclear what improvements you want to make after that
12:30 lichtkind its all in the post
12:30 lichtkind even being able to enhance it have better doc and arg parsing seems to me profit enough
12:30 haarg it seems primarily related to indexing, but you are referencing X<> tags, perldoc.perl.org, and metacpan
12:31 lichtkind even less interested people found searchabilty of all pod useful
12:31 lichtkind not jsut perlfaq
12:34 lichtkind ineed i spent least amount of text on most useful features becasue i thought they were most obvious
12:34 lichtkind allright you know where to find me
12:35 lichtkind and im in perlde, wxerl. and perl6
12:35 haarg what i'm saying is that perldoc.perl.org and metacpan are both mostly unrelated and neither are related to Pod::Perldoc, and neither use X<> tags
12:35 haarg so correlating them confuses your intent
12:36 lichtkind my intent is to have perldoc more in sync with perldoc.org and borrowing some of their features
12:36 lichtkind thatswhy i mentioned it
12:36 haarg https://github.com/metacpan/metacpan-web/issues/1965 and https://metacpan.org/pod/Test::podimage for image related things btw
12:39 lichtkind thanks but like said its not an issue for me now
12:50 lichtkind cheers

19:57 Grinnz there's an issue somewhere for clarifying the actual author/maintainers of a module instead of just the latest uploader right?
19:57 Grinnz i can't seem to find one
19:57 Grinnz the recent permissions api seems like it would be helpful here
