10:43 Netfeed #mongodb @ freenode?
10:44 batman is that mongodb server specific or will MongoDB.pm people also be there?
10:44 batman i got issues with keys having "." in them... wonder if there's a way around
10:44 marcus batman: the perl driver is supported by the mongodb people afaik

10:56 sri so fix it :)
10:57 marcus hmm, blocking servers and using callbacks + $delay->wait might lead to 'blocking request in progress'. message

16:07 sri still wondering if the after_build_tx hook should work with the Mount plugin
16:08 sri not sure which behavior is more unexpected
16:08 sri currently the hook does absolutely nothing in detour apps
16:09 sri if we made it work, it would however run for absolutely every request, even if it doesn't get dispatched to that embedded app
16:10 sri it of course opens up new possibilities

18:56 tempire ah
18:57 Netfeed is that a feature from safari?
18:57 tempire I don't think so
18:57 tempire I have a plugin for that in chrome
18:57 tempire I don't remember installing it for safari though
18:57 tempire checking...

22:47 vervain I _really_ like the new 'Page not found... yet!'... I saw the discussion on email and really agreed that 'not unboxed yet' or whatever was very distracting.
22:47 vervain :-)
22:53 jmhgtx Hi, I may not be doing this right but I'm attempting to get a subset of data from an object and return it via a route like the following /account/:id/users.   The users sub is attempting to extract the users from the account.  When I try and set it in the response however, I continually get the whole dataset.  Is there a way to overwrite it? Or should I not be doing that in the first place?
23:05 vervain jmhgtx: Do you want to throw something into a pastebin... I understand your idea but can't tell you want's likely to be wrong from just your description.
23:06 jmhgtx Thanks, one sec.
23:08 jmhgtx http://privatepaste.com/5875f10e64
23:10 jmhgtx So the problem is that I'm still getting that entire hash instead of the arrayref.
23:13 vervain Is that Dump representative of $user_list after the 'from_json' call?
23:14 jmhgtx Yes it is.
23:14 jmhgtx All I want is the 'users' arrayref.
23:15 vervain Maybe there's too much magic... try $user_list = $user_list->{users}; prior to the respond_to
23:15 vervain <shrug>
23:16 vervain That would make it pretty explicit... then if it works you can decide rather or not to track down the magic later. :-)
23:16 vervain respond_to and I have had a run-in before... I've not yet returned to it.
23:17 jmhgtx Yeah, I tried that before.
23:17 vervain Or you may even be able to get away with $self->tx->res->content->get_body_chunk(0)->{users}
23:17 jmhgtx I've tried several of the respond related methods today w/o success.
23:17 jmhgtx I'll try that.
23:18 vervain Don't forget that if you use ->{users} explicitly earlier then you want to remove it from your respond_to line.
23:19 jmhgtx That didn't work either.   Seems like the problem is the inability to overwrite the reponse.
23:24 jmhgtx vervain: Thanks again for your help.
23:28 vervain Np... sorry there wasn't more of it :-)
