02:19 ZadYree Hum one question: Is Mojo::Template inherited in $self ?
02:19 ZadYree by default I mean
02:24 jb360 joined #mojo
02:28 anewkirk ZadYree, think property of, not inherited
02:32 ZadYree I tend  to think it practically: I actually wonder if i will be able to use its methods directly by $self->render_file. I think so, as render() is quite a basic

07:26 bzero sri: How to use accept_interval for Mojo::Server::Daemon?
07:26 Slatibart Hi,  is there only the google group about Mojolicious or is there somewhere a Mailing list too ?
07:29 dotan joined #mojo
07:40 suy Slatibart: the google group behaves a lot like a mailing list. Google tries to hide it, but you can subscribe with a non-google email.
07:43 Slatibart suy: Thanks, now I only need to find the subscribe option in google ;)
07:44 suy Slatibart: arm yourself with patience. :-)  I always bang my head against that page because I always forget how to do it. I think it might be associating a foreign email with a google account.

13:34 Slatibart So far I've used morbo for playing with Mojolicious. For production I have to use Apache but mod_perl is still 5.8.x. (I'm using 5.16.3 at the moment) So mod_perl is not an option. Is it possible to run without modperl. And second can I run a mojo instance somewhere under domain/somewhere/mojo_app. I'm a bit puzzled by the wiki/Apache-deployment doc
13:36 doby Try hypnotoad with an apache proxy
13:36 JiYu joined #mojo
13:36 doby http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojolicious/Guides/Cookbook#Apachemod_proxy
13:38 Slatibart ahh, thanks. Not so much an apache guy. I believe with ProxyPass I could do "domain/somewhere/mojo_app" ?
13:40 doby Yes, just put your server.pl wherever and use "hypnotoad server.pl"
13:41 doby hypnotoad -s server.pl to stop
13:41 doby etc
13:41 Slatibart hypnotoad is listening to which port per default ?
13:41 doby 3000
13:42 doby http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojo/Server/Hypnotoad
13:42 doby oops that might just be my config
13:42 doby check the docs :)
13:43 Britzel_ 3000 is the default port
13:43 maxhq joined #mojo
13:43 Slatibart but the example in hypnotad doc says 8080 ?
13:44 doby http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojolicious/Guides/Cookbook#Hypnotoad
13:44 Britzel_ er
13:44 doby I used that ^^
13:44 Britzel_ hm, sorry. 3000 is the default port for morbo dev server, and 8080 for hypnotoad.
13:44 doby adding a hypnotoad section to your .conf makes it easy for you and everyone else to find
13:44 gryphon joined #mojo
13:44 Slatibart ok, makes sense, that matches the apache proxy example
13:47 Slatibart And if I want to run several mojo aps I probably just need to use different ports and apache proxy entries ?
13:47 doby that should do it
13:49 Slatibart or could the hypnotad server just deal with it and work with more then one mojo app ?
13:49 doby you can put multiple routes into a single app
13:50 doby so yes the hypnotoad server could handle it
13:51 Britzel_ Slatibart: Look for the "mount" command to add several apps together under one server.
13:51 sri http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojolicious/Plugin/Mount
13:51 Britzel_ my words :)
13:52 Slatibart thx, my mind is still cgi app centric
13:52 sri there's a million ways to deploy a mojolicious app
13:53 Slatibart I'm happy to find one or two good ways :)
13:54 sri http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojolicious/Guides/Cookbook#DEPLOYMENT # Second sentence is very important
13:55 sri everything else is matter of taste
14:01 * sri has to run a few kilometers again now
14:03 coff Slatibart: We use Pound, Varnish and Mojo together.
14:03 coff and don't bother with apache at all.

20:51 basiliscos Hello. Why the following simple test http://bpaste.net/show/88512/ fails, when I call it just as "proove t/008-just-mojo-log.t"? And why it fails not when I call it as "prove -v t/008-just-mojo-log.t"?

23:46 al802 hi guys,
23:46 al802 does anyone know if it is possible to delete default helpers, say during startup
23:47 al802 I want to remove the PoweredBy helper which seems to be installed by default
23:47 al802 currently I delete the header on each request in before_dispatch, but it would be nicer if I could just unregister the helper function
