02:06 jberger would you agree if I were to say "this really isn't going to do what you think it will, which is why it isn't working"?
02:08 jberger I haven't used AnyEvent::Util::run_cmd but it looks like the OP thinks that its going to make the call non-blocking (which I don't think is true) and even if it does it seems they are using the CV wrong

13:16 martin hi, I'm starting out and am trying to decide on a template engine. I use TT a lot, so would prefer to use that. I saw an old article stating that the helpers weren't availble for any other rendering engine than the built in one, is this still the case ?  and are there any other big disadvantages for using a different renderer ?
13:17 martin ps if anyone could point me at a cool example showing authentication, that would be great.
13:19 Lee martin: Mojolicious::Plugin::TtRenderer::Engine
13:20 martin thx, so it appears they are supported then.

15:50 martin building my first app, and wondering whats the best method of authentication.  I'm using nginx,  should I look to authenticate outside of the app, or write a plugin ?  I'd like to authenticate against a database which stores the user,pass and group details
15:51 martin is there a best practice ?

16:15 Dandre Hello,
16:15 Dandre I haven't found how to retreive selected values of checkboxes. I have a form generated by form_for and checkboxes. What I want is retreive all checked values. Is there another way than parsing the request body?
16:16 tianon ->param() ?
16:16 tianon that's what I use :)
16:17 Dandre but param doesn't return all my selected values
16:18 tianon can you pastebin a minimal Mojolicious::Lite example? :)
16:19 gryphon joined #mojo
16:21 alnewkirk martin: try Mojolicious::Plugin::Authentication
16:22 alnewkirk Dandre: param() is context sensative, have you tried assign the return value(s) to an array?
16:22 alnewkirk e.g.
16:22 alnewkirk @values = $self->param('blah')
16:23 Dandre I did {foo)>$self->param('blah')}
16:23 Dandre with your code this worked
16:23 Dandre thanks
16:24 martin thx, will check that out

17:19 lclc That's ok for now, but I haven't found a parameter to set it to release for later. Any tipps?
