03:02 tianon jberger: I hadn't tried Juice yet - thanks for the pointer, I'll have to give it a go as well :D
03:07 jberger_ when having to type on that screen, having tab-complete is a life-saver
03:07 jberger_ mst: App::MojoSlides 0.05 just shipped with the ability to configure header and footer
03:08 jberger_ including turning them completely off
03:08 jberger_ also has extra_css and extra_js configuration as well
03:08 jberger_ hopefully this helps get you closer to your end-goal :-)
03:09 sri jberger: andchat really better than androirc?
03:09 tianon I usually just used "Ctrl+I" to accomplish tab (once I was forced to leave my hardware keyboard behind, that is), but I'm really digging direct support for "via"
03:09 * jberger_ looks up androirc
03:09 jberger_ its been a while since I compared
03:10 sri androirc doesn't look like the screenshots in the play store at all on 4.4
03:10 sri much better
03:11 sri juice working as a local terminal too is also pretty nice
03:12 sri just needs some sweet scp support now :)
03:12 * jberger_ installs androirc, just to check
03:12 sri what other must have android apps are there>
03:13 jberger_ I don't end up using the github app as often as just using the website
03:14 jberger_ I do like the youtube app with preloading, I'm not sure if that is something you need
03:14 sri yea, i try to skip appified websites
03:14 jberger_ the yelp monocle is pretty cool
03:14 jberger_ is there yelp in germany?
03:15 sri maybe, but i don't know anyone who uses it
03:15 tianon the Wifi Analyzer is immeasurably useful if you ever have to setup or diagnose wifi signal issues :)
03:15 sri i guess angry birds and kingdom rush do count as must haves :D
03:17 sri oh right, got to find a twitter app
03:19 sri hmm, vlc is not as polished as on ios yet

03:24 jberger_ bike race is rather addictive
03:25 jberger_ re androirc, how do you pick a name for including into your chat line?
03:26 jberger_ another few nits
03:26 jberger_ it only lets you pick two nicks where andchat lets you pick three
03:27 jberger__ joined #mojo
03:27 jberger_ and you need two clicks to get to the user list and not one
03:28 jberger_ and at least two clicks to do anything with the user (which I guess is the same)
03:28 jberger__ sri: hi from andchat
03:29 jberger_ I cannot figure out how to get androirc to do 'sri:' for me
03:29 sri i consider not seeing the user list a feature ;p
03:29 jberger_ which isn't such a big deal for sri, but for longer names is nice
03:29 jberger_ andchat has the user list as a drop away on the right side
03:31 * jberger_ uninstalls androirc
03:31 jberger_ pretty similar except for those nits as far as I can tell
03:36 sri Hello Form andchat
03:37 sri -.-
03:37 jberger_ o/
03:38 sri Doesnt look nearly AS nice
03:40 sri but both work great with znc

03:47 jberger_ one other thing I was able to get App::MojoSlides to do: since it takes its overlay spec from a tag attribute, I was able to put those attributes on an SVG image I built in inkscape and now I have incremental figures!
03:47 jberger_ \o/
03:47 jberger_ this follows the Beamer model very closely
03:48 jberger_ but I guess SVG/HTML is a much more common system than TikZ/Beamer

17:08 Dandre can this increase log level?
17:09 tianon does hypnotoad not respond to MOJO_MODE ?
17:10 Dandre I just have put     $ENV{MOJO_MODE} = 'development';    in the BEGIN section

23:07 sri eeep, android filetransfer is even more terrible than it looked like :S
23:09 tianon indeed :(
23:09 tianon also, don't even try to drag and drop from there to anywhere but Finder, or it'll have all sorts of issues
23:09 sri almost as bad as trying to transfer files with itunes that aren't blessed by apple :S
23:09 tianon my wife tried to use it to take her pictures directly to iPhoto and it had a cow
23:09 tianon we ended up with the flow that she copies to the desktop first, then to iPhoto
23:10 tianon and even that's flakey
23:10 sri wonder if any of the commercial wireless transfer apps are good
23:10 Britzel_ sri: I use airdroid for larger file transfer stuff, and Bluetooth File Transfer for smaller stuff.
23:11 sri airdroid looks scary
23:11 Britzel_ AirDroid turns the phone into a server you can connect to, and manage the entire thing, transfer files, read SMSs etc.
23:11 Britzel_ Works fine.
23:12 sri doesn't it use a web service?
23:13 sri or is that the premium part?
23:14 Britzel_ It can go via a webservice, but only optionally. Here it simply uses the locally assigned address which I connect to.
23:15 sri lets try it
23:18 sri ok, that's a lot less terrible than filetransfer :)
