04:58 * sri has finally figured out how to configure the google keyboard properly o/
04:58 sri that swipe stuff rocks
05:00 davido I've got swipe on my GS4, but I don't think it's based on the Google keyboard.  I think it's a samsung version.
05:01 sri google keyboard 2.0 has that built in now
05:01 * sri hugs his nexus 5
05:02 davido When I've tried swipe I haven't been able to decide whether I like it or not.  I'm always trying to see the key my finger is sliding toward, and one half of the keyboard is obscured from view by the finger.
05:02 sri yea, with a little practice it gets easier
05:02 davido I'll have to just force myself to use it for a week.
05:03 sri i'm even switching between english and german dictionaries now :)
05:03 davido lol.  It's hard enough mentally to switch between languages.
05:04 davido I lived in Portugal for a few years.  Eventually we sort of took on a hybrid; portinglace

13:19 womble hi, does anyone have a link to a current, working demo of mojolicious + bootstrap? the ones i've found appear to be out of date and aren't working for me
13:19 womble i
13:19 womble i'm new to mojolicious/bootstrap and trying to learn by example first

15:09 womble is it possible to do a send on a websocket in response to an inactivity timeout (i.e. to warn user they have timed out)?
15:12 womble dsteinbrunner: that one doesn't work... no worries though, i am figuring it out for myself. i've adapated this https://github.com/kraih/mojo/wiki/Writing-websocket-chat-using-Mojolicious-Lite to generate some cool bootstrap alerts on message receive
15:12 womble amazed that a dummy like me can understand this stuff :-)

15:51 odc sri, with Mango, when i do $collection->update(...), it returns a hash with the execution details, but not the updated document. Is this normal?

16:10 marty odc:  you can use the find_and_modify command to get the updated document.    $collection->find_and_modify({query => {}, update => {}, new => bson_true});
16:11 odc marty, thanks!
16:12 odc the documentation for update() should be changed then
16:14 marty it is documented.   http://search.cpan.org/~sri/Mango-0.18/lib/Mango/Collection.pm
16:15 odc yeah, and it says it returns $doc
16:15 odc which means document for me...
16:18 odc wtf find_and_modify returned 0 :/
16:24 sri don't use the mango reference docs instead of real mongodb documentation
16:24 odc oh
16:24 odc good to know!
16:25 odc i'm gonna rewrite my software now :(

17:12 sri i'm also implying that your concept of "document" is flawed, many operations like update return documents that may just not contain what you were expecting
17:14 sri or rather... your current understanding of "document"
17:16 sri $doc refers to a generic container, and does not indicate a type of content

19:24 salparadise hi all, I am using Mojo::UserAgent and have a question, I am pulling some JSON data using the following $ua->get($url, {'Authorization' => $encaup,'Accept' => $accept});
19:25 salparadise and then $resrv->res->json->{'sandbox'}->{'reservations'}->{'reservation'}; to dive into the part I need
19:25 salparadise http://pastie.org/pastes/8483298/text << here is that portion
19:25 salparadise is there a way I can tell the server or the UA in the get request to only pull up stuff that does not have 'state' => EXPIRED?
19:26 salparadise just trying to optimize this a bit, takes a long time since most of those are EXPIRED
19:26 salparadise *I think*
