06:46 chankey Hi, is there any shortcut to get absolute URL via Mojo::DOM? Check this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24075040/mojodom-shortcut-to-get-absolute-url-for-a-resource

07:00 batman chankey: what do you mean "absolute url"..? from a "href" attribute..?
07:01 batman Mojo::DOM doesn't really care about URLs
07:11 chankey @batman: See what Miller has asked in link.

07:25 purl fade out is probably done by goosing fgcolor on a timer or something?
07:26 mishantil I wonder how dirty (foul mouthed) purl might become.

08:30 marcus batman: so you’re doing both, eh?
08:30 batman yeah.
08:30 batman i never do anything half way ;)

10:24 bd i have an action that basically generates an html table from data it queries from a database
10:24 bd now i want to add the ability to have it as csv file
10:25 bd i tried $route->any('/index')->format->('csv')->to('controller#index'); and adding a template/controller.csv.ep but that does not seem to work
10:32 neyasov__ joined #mojo
10:38 bd hmpf, now it works ...

11:11 nic another approach is to handle it in the controller via ->respond_to
11:12 nic keeps the routes cleaner if more pages are to supply csv
11:13 nic It's one of my favourite features of Mojolicious :)
11:14 bd it seems like i don't have to alter the routes
11:14 bd it picks up the foo.csv.ep automatically if i request index.csv
11:14 nic yes
11:16 nic $self->res->headers->content_disposition is v useful to me in that situation too
11:21 batman anyone seen this error in chrome? "WebSocket is already in CLOSING or CLOSED state" i don't get why it's an error in my console, but not throw as an exception
11:21 batman also, ws.send() in chrome seem to always return undefined

13:38 genio The answers to it seem good enough for me.  It's... odd to me, but at least it's explained
13:39 sri it's still terrible inconsistent behavior
13:46 genio agreed
13:51 mishantil There is bound to be changes in the language.
13:51 mishantil I mean, for such a young language there are some things that will be discovered (design flaws) after people start using it.

14:30 genio This is when living in a small city really sucks.  The trackpad on my late 2011 15" MBP is going absolutely nuts.  Moves on its own, etc.  I can order a new trackpad online for $74, but I can't find ANYWHERE to just go buy one right now
14:34 vaewyn Morning.. trying to add a handler that will spit out rss by using a sub to create the rss files... I did add_handler .. call render with the format... and it still looks for a blah.html.rss file... and even if I provide it... doesn't call the sub for the rss handler...   any ideas?  Code at http://pastebin.com/qWVFyhH3

14:37 nhjs hi, is there a way to make a delieberately kill (with die) a mojo app started with morbo?
14:37 nhjs when i try this, the app hangs and port 3000 is still open
14:57 sri vaewyn: where in the documentation did you see that?
15:08 vaewyn sri: http://mojolicio.us/perldoc/Mojolicious/Guides/Rendering "Adding a handler to generate binary data"  kindof extrapolated it into a real app from the lite example...  (aka... guessed)  :P
15:09 sri vaewyn: i don't see "format => 'bson'" anywhere
15:10 vaewyn d'oh...  should be handler instead?
15:11 vaewyn I'm so use to changing "behavior" via format I just dropped that in... *facepalm*
15:13 vaewyn sri: works great now... thanks!
