13:13 kwa Ooh, while you're dipping around in perldoc/PODRenderer sri. I noticed that if you refer to a named anchor/perl method e.g., L<Foo#bar> in the POD using PODRenderer, it escapes the # thus ends up redirecting to metacpan.
13:14 sri kwa: please elaborate
13:14 dexteruk_ joined #mojo
13:16 sri i have no idea what L<Foo#bar> means
13:18 sjn sri: L<Foo#bar> is a POD type link to a section within another document
13:18 sri you have a documentation link?
13:18 sjn uno mometo (read about this just yesterday)
13:18 dexteruk_ joined #mojo
13:19 kwa sri: A link to a perldoc L<CGI#Programming-style>.
13:19 kwa It escapes the # to %23.
13:19 sjn http://perldoc.perl.org/perlpodspec.html#About-L%3C...%3E-Codes
13:19 kwa So it redirects to metacpan.
13:19 sri sjn: that anchor doesn't actually work -.-
13:19 batman sjn: L<Foo/bar> links to a section within another document
13:20 kwa batman: hmm! I've always used L<Foo#bar>. Interesting...
13:20 avenj I've never heard of such
13:20 sjn hm
13:20 sri i can't find L<Foo#bar>
13:21 sri sjn: where exactly?
13:21 * sjn neither
13:21 avenj not documented in perlpod or the link sjn pasted
13:21 sjn yeah, noticed that too, sorry
13:21 batman kwa: perldoc perlpod
13:21 purl perldoc perlpod is the canonical pod documentation
13:21 sri :S
13:21 kwa batman: It treats the output slightly different.
13:21 kwa A link to a perldoc L<CGI/Programming-style>. -- A link to a perldoc "Programming-style" in CGI.
13:22 kwa A link to a perldoc L<CGI#Programming-style>. -- A link to a perldoc CGI#Programming-style.
13:22 batman kwa: #whatever is just wrong.
13:22 sri kwa: please give me a documentation link
13:22 batman kwa: you've just been lucky since you're rendering to HTML i guess
13:22 sri i care about the spec, not what you believe to be right
13:24 sri but considering we let Pod::Simple::XHTML generate our links, odds are you are just wrong
13:25 sri same method metacpan uses to generate html from pod btw.
13:25 batman kwa: echo -e "=head1\n\nL<Foo/bar> and L<Foo#bar>" > foo.pl && perldoc foo.pl | cat
13:25 kwa You're quite right, I can't find it either. I've seen other people use it.
13:25 kwa But that doesn't mean it's right.
13:25 batman ^^ the L<Foo#bar> is rendered completely wrong.

13:30 batman why do you do (shift, shift) instead of using $a and $b?

18:32 sri i like testing with data from actual apis
18:32 sri like github search results
18:32 davido___ That would be much better.
18:33 sri geo apis are also nice generally, lots of nested structures
18:33 Kripton_ the Mojolicious::Sessions keeps the sessions on memory, right ?
18:34 Kripton_ to store the sessions on file, or DB the best way would write a plugin, or should be in a hack in Mojolicious::Sessions ?
18:34 davido___ If the issue is still open in a few hours I'll do some more thorough testing.  I am of the impression that it's unlikely for a JSON data structure to be sufficiently large to make a significant difference sorted vs unsorted.  (for some values of significant).
18:36 davido___ Probably the thing to do would be to determine how large the DS has to be before the penalty exceeds some threshold... 5% for example.
18:36 Kripton_ we need to install a cluster of mojo servers, for that  we need something like a shared session, so the client can connect on any server

20:00 nishttal2 how do I specify the SSLCertificateChainFile path?
20:01 nishttal2 i was able to do.. https://*:443?cert=apps2_com.crt&key=server.key
20:01 nishttal2 and it works
20:02 nishttal2 but DigiCert (my certificate vendor) also suggested to set the path to their certificate which is DigiCertCA.crt

20:47 sri genio: please elaborate
20:48 sri jberger: i do love playing with ->reduce now that $a and $b work :O
20:49 genio sri: with TEST_POD=1 set, I got this https://gist.github.com/anonymous/f429e90b49627a69b754
20:50 davido_ reduce++
20:50 sri genio: seems pretty random, doubt it's a real bug
20:52 * genio nods.   and most people don't have test_pod set.  mine was only set because I was testing something I was writing here that requires Mojo
