01:30 genio sri: I thought it was just "meh".  I didn't dislike it, it just wasn't on the level of the other Marvel shows by Netflix

07:42 batman vicash: I would use my plugin, since it's async.
07:43 batman It's not packed with features, since I only focus on what I needed: making transactions
07:43 batman So it all depends on your needs.

10:02 mishanti2 So does Mojo have any convenience-methods to slurp all mojo templates in DATA? I'm looking to clean up an old script that does the DATA-slurping / splitting itself.
10:02 mishanti2 Had a look at my old code and cringed.
10:06 stephan48 mishanti2: you could look at Mojo::Loader but i don't know if it can enumerate the templates
10:06 mishanti2 stephan48: Thank you. Will look at the docs.
10:15 mishanti2 stephan48: It was actually spot-on what I was looking for. :)
10:16 stephan48 awesome!

11:55 purl jberger: I forgot hi there.
11:57 mishanti2 jberger: Doing a little sunday purl maintenance? :)
11:58 jberger Eh, why not?
11:58 jberger ;p

12:36 jberger That was so botched
12:36 jberger I'm still a little irked about it
12:38 jberger If I'd had any idea that they had no plan publicity I'd have tried to help
12:38 jberger I believe the record will even bear me out on that
12:38 jberger I joined #perl6 and was begging for a press release
12:51 jberger They really could have had even more press though, have a party, have a symbolic/overblown moment of Larry uploading the 1.0
12:52 jberger As it was it was like "oh we didn't plan anything, it is Christmas we are all with our families"
12:53 jberger ARGH YOU GUYS PICKED THE DATE!

13:41 polettix I’d like to fix this Mojo::PG pull request https://github.com/kraih/mojo-pg/pull/33
13:41 polettix to at least comply with the submission rules (I’ll ask here first next time I think of a PR)
13:42 polettix looking in the rest of the code, I found that pattern matching is done using /…/ so I’ll change m{} to that
13:42 sri polettix: so, why didn't you just use //?
13:42 polettix sri: didn’t see it was used elsewhere, sorry
13:43 polettix the other doubt I have is about the tests: is a single test OK or is it better to e.g. repeat all tests that are there for postgresql://…?
13:43 sri as for the test, just change one of the other tests to use postgres://
13:43 sri in connection.t
13:43 polettix thx
14:03 polettix re Mojo::Pg PR, do you prefer a new PR with one single squashed change?
14:04 sri squash force push
14:06 sri polettix: btw. i didn't mean add another test, i meant actually just change one of the existing ones
14:07 polettix Oh. Well, I’m in time to change that before the squashing anyway
14:14 polettix sri: I have converged hopefully
14:15 polettix this force push really makes me feel uneasy, I understand it but it’s like a taboo after you read all over that you’re not really supposed to do that
14:15 polettix that’s what “unless you have good reasons to” is for, probably
14:48 jberger polettix: for shared branches it is icky. For personal topic branches no one is likely to be pulling them and if they are they should expect history rewrites
14:49 polettix jberger: that’s why taboos are bad sometimes :D
