04:06 damaya I've written a really simple api that just renders json, like so $c->render(json => {error => 'string'});, my question is, how can I get it to render a newline at the end?
04:07 damaya After I curl the API, I get back the json output and my terminal prompt on the same line.
04:20 Grinnz you could encode the json yourself and add a newline at the end, but it doesnt seem worth it
04:20 jberger damaya that's a property of your terminal
04:21 Grinnz $c->render(data => encode_json {error => 'string'}, format => 'json');
04:21 jberger damaya try: curl .... | jq .
04:21 Grinnz yeah, json parsers would be a better way to view it
04:21 Grinnz also i screwed up that line

04:43 mr_wibble Hi guys, do any know of mojo can/will support SameSite cookies ?
04:44 mr_wibble e.g. https://www.sjoerdlangkemper.nl/2016/04/14/preventing-csrf-with-samesite-cookie-attribute/
04:45 mr_wibble seems to be handled in Mojo/Cookie/Response.pm, also limits to specific know options
04:47 mr_wibble or is there a way to append your own attributes to cookies?, say after the cookie header has been set, but not sent

10:29 Zen_ I am trying to call stop_gracefully from a controller after memory hogging operations, should this be possible or am I totally barking up the wrong tree here?

11:12 user_4522 I have some cronjob running for months now. Then updated Mojolicious
11:12 user_4522 my @lastpage = $dom->find('tr td center b a')->each;
11:13 user_4522 Can't locate object method "find" via package "0"
11:15 user_4522 It comes from:    my $dom = $tx->res->dom;     defined $dom ? return $dom : $dom_error++; return 0;
11:15 user_4522 Thus, $tx->res->dom->find is no longer available?
11:37 user_4522 turned out my HTTPS connection fails since update and $dom is empty.

13:14 marcus erlang is cute

13:58 Zen_ I found a solution for cleaning up memory hogging modules, by calling     kill 'QUIT', $$;
13:59 Zen_ from the controller after calling the hogging routine in question
14:00 pink_mist why not just exit 0;?
14:02 Zen_ doesnt make it exit gracefully
14:03 [vlad] sounds hackish
14:04 [vlad] This emulation has limitations related to kill
14:04 [vlad] that have to be considered, for code running on Windows and in
14:04 [vlad] code intended to be portable.
14:12 pink_mist Zen_: looking at: https://metacpan.org/source/SRI/Mojolicious-7.11/lib/Mojo/Server/Prefork.pm#L150 ... perhaps you can just call ->stop_gracefully on the IOLoop?
14:13 sri that server doesn't work with fork emulation anyway
14:13 sri so the kill() is fine
14:14 sri (and never will work with fork emulation)
