08:18 kes *Hi
08:28 kes have found answer:  $app->sessions->cookie_name('name'); and flash is saved into session

15:25 spicyjack is there a shortcut for retreiving a Mojo::JSON::Pointer object out of a transaction generated by a call to get_ok()?
15:25 spicyjack I can do "my $ptr = Mojo::JSON::Pointer->new($t->tx->res->json);" to create one, but I was wondering if one already existed in the transaction object somewhere
15:26 jberger spicyjack: no, you can pass a pointer string to ->json
15:27 jberger but I don't believe there is way to get a Pointer object
15:28 spicyjack jberger: okay, thanks
15:29 spicyjack jberger: I like how you can use JSON pointers in json_* tests, I wanted to do that in not test code as well
15:29 jberger once you have $res, you can just pass it pointers
15:29 jberger $res->json('/some/pointer'); $res->json('/other/pointer');
15:30 jberger not QUITE as efficient as having the pointer object, but I doubt its much worse
15:32 jberger hehe, I could add a pointer method to https://metacpan.org/pod/Mojo::Autobox (in the hash and array classes) :-P
15:32 jberger not that anyone probably uses that
15:36 spicyjack jberger: that's what I was looking for, thanks
15:36 spicyjack jberger: I just wanted to print out the values that I'm seeing in tests during tests
15:37 tchaves joined #mojo
15:37 jberger adding a pointer method to this might be handy
15:37 jberger https://metacpan.org/pod/Test::Mojo::Role::Debug
15:37 jberger or something more geared towards json
15:38 spicyjack jberger: I'll take a look
15:40 jberger I wonder if it could even somehow know to use dom vs json
15:40 spicyjack body vs. json?
15:40 jberger well, in the case of html it uses the dom
15:41 jberger I wouldn't really want to rely on mime type, since the whole point is to debug on failure, which might not have the right mime type
15:41 jberger I guess it would be better to have a ->dj or some such

16:27 Grinnz jberger: https://github.com/jberger/Log-Any-Adapter-MojoLog/pull/1
16:27 Grinnz someone in another channel ran into this issue
16:29 Grinnz you should probably also remove 'use Mojolicious;' from the test file to test that :P
16:30 jberger oh interesting
16:30 jberger got it
16:31 jberger or else just require Mojolicious in the main file
16:31 jberger I already use Mojo::Lot
16:31 jberger Log
16:31 Grinnz it's not needed other than for this check at the moment, though
16:36 jberger right, but that check is going to be performed on the first non-fatal log message
16:36 jberger so, may as well get it out of the way
16:38 x86 joined #mojo
16:39 Grinnz sure
16:43 Grinnz (still change the version test though, always use ->VERSION for "do i have at least this version")

17:09 thowe_work jberger, forgive me if this wasn't you, but I think you had pointed me to some kind of vim package manager of some kind one time that could be used with Mojo ep syntax highlighting files(?)
17:13 disputin joined #mojo
17:18 preaction there's a vim plugin for those files, and there's a vim package manager he uses. those are different things though
17:19 preaction Vundle is the plugin manager. "yko/mojo.vim" is the plugin
17:19 thowe_work yeah, I now they are different.  I was curious about both of them
17:19 thowe_work er know
17:19 tchaves joined #mojo
17:19 thowe_work I need to update all my perl syntax stuff apparently...
17:24 thowe_work preaction, thanks!

18:13 jberger I don't use Vundle I use VAM
18:14 jberger and interestingly mojo.vim has a bug where it blows up syntax highlighting when there is %{ $maybe_hashref || {} }
18:14 jberger (though only if you enable the highlight data section)
18:15 jberger thowe_work: here's vam https://github.com/MarcWeber/vim-addon-manager
18:17 jberger and here's my vimrc
18:17 jberger https://github.com/jberger/dotfiles/blob/master/vimrc
18:17 preaction i could've swore i switched to the thing you use...
18:18 thowe_work cool, thanks.  Yeah, I'm running into some other kind of syntax bug that I thought I might upgrade around.  It seems pretty random in the middle of html...
18:20 rshadow joined #mojo
18:23 thowe_work maybe it's the closing %> that confuses it... (?)
18:24 thowe_work seems to think the html is perl code to be highlighted in any event...
18:36 dave joined #mojo
18:42 jberger preaction: I think I remember you talking about switching
18:42 preaction yeah, i might've switched to something else or i don't even know
18:43 jberger I even figured out how to get it to not make me hit enter for every update it does
18:44 jberger there is a setting (which the example even includes just in a comment that I never read properly) which sends the upgrade log to a buffer rather than to the console
18:53 genio sri: My new XPS 15 will be here tomorrow.

19:37 arcanez I spent way too much time debugging a partial template displaying due to '% include "foo.html.ep"' vs '%= include "foo.html.ep"'
19:40 preaction i've done that... quite a bit :(
