02:54 div0_ Given a route such as '/foo/:input', I can read the ':input' from stash.  Is there any way to include it in validation?
02:54 div0_ This words, but looks clunky:
02:54 div0_ $validation->input({ input => $c->stash('input') });

08:33 kes Hi. Why placeholders are not available to validation object?
08:34 kes access them as $c->param( 'placeholder_name' ) makes me think I access not validated data
08:34 kes in compare to: $v->param( 'users data param name' )
08:35 kes the placeholder is same input data from users as query or post parameter, is not?

13:50 jberger the validation is meant for form data
13:51 jberger route placeholders aren't really the thing, by the time you've routed you're already past that point

14:33 kes jberger: How about xml or json? this also should be validated. Why do not use same validation?
14:33 jberger this is not a general purpose validator

16:15 maschine Stuck on something that seems like it should be stupid simple - flash
16:15 maschine $self->flash(test => 'test');  say $self->flash('test');
16:15 maschine returns nothing.. but if I change it to stash, it works.  I don't see how I could be doing this wrong?

16:21 maschine Figured it out - I had $app->sessions->secure(1);
16:22 maschine which doesn't work with morbo since I don't have HTTPS setup, thus no cookie was generated.. :p

23:06 maschine *hates MS Access with a passion
23:06 maschine *Forced to live with it anyway
23:06 maschine ugh
23:09 Grinnz same, but mysql
23:16 maschine I literally wasted my whole day chasing down stupid issues
23:16 maschine at least it works now :(
23:16 rickbol_ joined #mojo
23:16 Grinnz I waste brain cells working around its lack of json columns and arrays every day
23:17 Grinnz I wish SQLite had arrays too, it's the only thing i really feel is missing
23:17 Grinnz JSON can work for it, but it's clunky
23:19 maschine I just have to deal with whatever garbage the software makers give us.  At least our two main design apps export the same type of database so I could reuse 99% of my code..
23:19 maschine mainly I just have to make new templates, which isn't bad really
23:19 Grinnz I mean... https://metacpan.org/source/DBOOK/Minion-Backend-SQLite-2.003/lib/Minion/Backend/SQLite.pm#L57-59 vs https://metacpan.org/source/SRI/Minion-7.06/lib/Minion/Backend/Pg.pm#L56
23:20 Grinnz in addition to being a huge mess I have to reread the sqlite version like 5 times each time i work on it again
23:22 maschine I need something like that for Access but I sure as heck don't want to think about what that would look like. lol
23:23 Grinnz yeah in mysql theres not even a json column type to abuse for that sort of thing. the only way is to make more tables
