00:18 CEnnis91 tjpt01: hey
00:18 CEnnis91 next time just ping me here, i usually ignore pms from people i don't recognize
11:25 tjpt01 Heya CEnnis91
11:25 tjpt01 You around?
11:26 tjpt01 First off - Wanted to thank you for your stock ROMs.
11:27 tjpt01 Have a question for ya though - I've got a MOTOACTV that is running MA 1.7.10, flashed with one of the stock ROMs you provided on the XDA forums.
11:28 tjpt01 It's the North America version, so I flashed the 8gb-NA version through fastboot just like normal
11:28 tjpt01 My problem though is that I'm affected by the BLE bug which causes the workout activity to force close if a BLE heart rate monitor is connected.
11:29 tjpt01 According to the following page:
11:29 tjpt01 https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/72636
11:29 tjpt01 I should be able to get up to at least 1.7.11 N8, but for some reason the Motorola Device Manager software isn't picking it up.
11:30 tjpt01 It's my understanding that I can't get to 1.7.12 unless I've already got 1.7.11, since Motorola does incremental updates and not full ROMs.
11:33 tjpt01 I normally wouldn't care so much about an incremental release, but accordign to the release notes for 1.7.11, it's got a fix specifically for BLE heart rate monitors and the force close in the workouts app...

11:34 tjpt01 Do you have any suggestions as far as how to obtain the 1.7.11 update?
11:36 tjpt01 I've done the clockworkmod hokey pokey, wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache, flashed your stock rom with fastboot, no dice there.  I've also tried a couple of the other ROMs out there, but of course no luck there either since those ROMS are modded and I'm guessing Motorola does some kind of MD5 on a partition on the device to figure out if a given incremental update is applicable.
12:45 CEnnis91 tjpt01: the way we always got the updates was through the motoactv software that moto provides, but you said that doesn't work?

19:20 tjpt01 CEnnis91: Yup, when I tell it to check for updates, it says that 1.7.10 is the latest available for my device.
19:28 CEnnis91 tjpt01: so do you need 1.7.11 or 1.7.12?
19:29 CEnnis91 let me see if i still have the format of the files
19:30 CEnnis91 meh i don't
19:30 CEnnis91 you're able to download them manually with a (leaked) password
