13:44 masak HAI :)
13:44 zarah masak: You have new messages. Write '@messages' to read them.
13:44 ihrd @messages
13:44 zarah ihrd: You have no new messages.

13:45 ihrd masak, I wnat to add test in mediawiki link
13:45 masak ihrd: ok.
13:45 ihrd but mb it`s should work not as I expect
13:45 masak ihrd: the ultimate test is MediaWiki itself, of course.
13:46 ihrd I hope it should trim [[ Main Page]]
13:46 * masak thinks so
13:46 masak that's a good test to add.
13:46 ihrd and [foo.com ]
13:47 masak yes, most likely
13:47 ihrd ok
13:47 ihrd do you do, or think something about Web.pm?
13:47 masak add them, and either of us will check later what MediaWiki itself does.
13:47 masak ihrd: yes, but I'm very busy today.
13:47 masak I will take a look at Web.pm grant application tomorrow.
13:48 * masak has a so-called 'home exam' today
13:48 ihrd okay
13:48 masak ihrd++ # for making master work again
13:51 ihrd funy post, thank you for the link
13:51 masak thank egonw :)
13:53 ihrd ou
13:53 ihrd who is egonw?
13:53 masak a work-mate.
13:57 ihrd ok
13:57 masak @tell egonw :) -- language barriers are fun, and especially common between China and the west, of course -- since Chinese characters are so damn cool. see also http://www.boingboing.net/2008/10/31/email-error-on-road.html
13:57 ihrd I add thats test
13:57 zarah masak's link is also http://tinyurl.com/64gb4k
13:57 zarah Consider it noted.
13:57 masak ihrd: gread.
13:57 masak great*
13:58 ihrd yeah
13:58 ihrd and it falls now, so I go to look, mb be I can make it works
13:58 masak I think you can. :)
13:58 ihrd minimal do that, so I hope it is simple :)
13:59 ihrd ::Minimal I mean
13:59 masak it's a matter of doing .subst( /^ \s+/ , '' ) somewhere
14:00 ihrd mb, but I like to make grammar wiser
14:01 masak that's possible as well.
14:01 masak and maybe even to be preferred, yes.
14:01 ihrd we have grammar, I think we should evade additional regexs
14:02 masak true.
14:02 masak but I'm not sure that works with MediaWiki markup.
14:02 masak the grammar only does tokenizing, nothing more.
14:03 ihrd hm. this is architect question
14:03 masak maybe. but mostly a "does it work?" question.
14:04 ihrd for my is natural too use grammar for extract link
14:04 ihrd ok, I try that now
14:04 masak well, yes. I'm just saying that the grammar in the MediaWiki parser does something else right now.
14:04 masak you'll notice that when you dig into the code.
14:09 ihrd O, now I understand. Not so simple code here in MediaWiki.pm
14:09 masak it's a bit different.
14:09 masak but it's not extremely complicated either.
14:09 masak I'm glad I didn't have to emply worse tricks than that to make bold/italics work :)
14:17 masak ihrd: are you thinking of merging mediawiki-markup into master?
14:19 ihrd yes
14:19 masak ihrd++
14:20 ihrd I look at link test because ::Minimal can parse that
14:20 ihrd and I want to my pages do not broken after merge
14:20 masak that is a noble goal.
14:20 masak ...and one I had been striving towards as well.
14:21 masak (but I forgot about the link trimming thing)
14:39 ihrd done
14:39 ihrd I use grammar
14:39 masak oki, nice.
14:39 ihrd It is look much better for my, then substr
14:40 masak I agree.
14:40 ihrd plz look at my commit if you can
14:40 masak I look forward to reviewing the commit.
14:40 masak tomorrow.
14:40 ihrd ok
14:41 masak November++ # it just gets better all the time :)
14:41 moritz_ December++ # many cool rakudo features
14:41 masak aye
14:41 ihrd yes, Rakudo++ I remove mant rakudo-comments today
14:42 masak indeed, Rakudo++
14:42 ihrd s/mant/many
14:42 masak karma rakudo
14:42 zarah rakudo has a karma of 0
14:42 masak karma Rakudo
14:42 zarah Rakudo has a karma of 2
14:42 masak hm, I thought karma didn't care about case.
14:42 masak guess it does.
15:33 masak @ping Tene it would be nice to meet online and talk sometime about the grant application. I'm planning to send it in during the next week or so.
15:33 zarah Consider it noted.
15:34 Tene Sure.
15:34 zarah Tene: You have new messages. Write '@messages' to read them.
15:35 Tene masak: that would be great
15:35 masak goodie.
15:40 masak Tene: ihrd++ and I have discussed some Web.pm-related things via mail. it'll probably be the three of us sending in the grant application together.
15:43 Tene Sure.  I'm up for whatever.
15:43 masak I'll have more time to put something together in the weekend -- will get back to the both of you then.
15:52 ihrd masak, are you still here?
15:52 masak sort of.
15:52 ihrd ok, I will send you email
15:52 masak :)
16:10 * Tene at allalone dot org
16:10 masak thanks.
16:26 masak ihrd: I just read your mail. I agree something has to be done. I'll think about it, and write back when I have time.
16:27 masak there are already three named arguments to the methods in the MediaWiki markup parser, and there might come more in the future. maybe the right way to solve that is to make them attributes instead.
16:39 ihrd yes :)
16:39 ihrd now I go to sleep
16:39 ihrd bb
16:40 ihrd left #november-wiki
16:47 masak karma ihrd

16:48 zarah zarah has a karma of 50
16:48 masak and deservedly so.
16:48 masak you're a smart girl, zarah.
16:48 zarah masak: Never mind the compliment! Take your hand off my knee!
16:48 masak erm.
16:49 moritz_ how ungrateful.
16:49 masak I've never really understood bots.
16:50 masak it's like they're a different species or something.
16:50 moritz_ they are.
16:50 masak oh. that explains a lot.
17:32 masak zarah: you're the different one!
17:32 zarah masak: no, YOU are the different one!
17:33 masak see?
17:55 * Tene is a bot.
17:56 masak I knew it!
