06:47 masak hm.
06:47 masak @ping Tene_
06:47 zarah Consider it noted.
06:48 Tene_ masak
06:48 Tene_ hi
06:48 zarah Tene_: You have new messages. Write '/msg zarah @messages' to read them.
06:48 zarah saluton Tene_
06:48 masak Tene_: oh hai
06:48 Tene_ hi
06:49 zarah hello Tene_, you fantastic person you
06:49 masak Tene_: don't know if you saw that email yesterday.
06:49 masak I'd like an address (to send money to) and a blog URL (so that our grant supervisor knows where to look)
06:50 * Tene_ /msg
06:50 Tene_ http://blogs.gurulabs.com/stephen/
06:51 zarah Tene_'s link is also http://tinyurl.com/aellxx
06:51 masak thank you.
06:51 masak I'll send the email.
06:51 Tene_ I meant to send that in email sooner, but haven't yet.  Since you're volunteering for me... thank you. :)
06:52 masak no prob.
06:55 Tene_ I expect to be done being sick by tomorrow
06:56 Tene_ so I should be able to do some work for Web tomorrow night.
07:01 masak cool.
07:01 masak this week I'm simply writing down all ideas that come to mind.
07:01 masak with a view to making them as concrete and implementable as possible, of course.
07:01 Tene_ I vaguely plan to start experimenting with Tags.
07:05 masak as in... HTML?
07:06 Tene_ HTML generation, like Template::Declare and friends.  Unless there's something else you'd prefer I'd work on.
07:09 * masak checks Template::Declare
07:09 masak (basically, I approve of any idea which might lead to runnable code. we'll improve/consolidate things from there.)
07:10 masak Template::Declare seems cool. would be nice to have a Perl 6 clone of that.
07:10 masak it falls somewhere in layer 1 or layer 2, I think.
07:11 masak perhaps layer 2, since that one only contains a Genshi clone right now.
07:17 masak I'm sort of thinking about reading/parsing/processing HTML as well. it would be awesome to build a set of tools that could mix other people's web pages, for example. that's a typical killer app, I think.
07:17 masak handling broken HTML is an issue.
07:17 Tene_ rather
07:19 masak but one which other HTML parsers handle fairly well.
07:22 masak I don't like how use.perl.org looks. it would be so cool to be able to throw up a twenty-line web application that served a rearranged version of it. ;)
07:23 masak something like "here's where the blog posts come in. keep those, and but the sidebar here instead, and use this stylesheet."
