01:17 Hemebond Is it possible to run the configurator over the top of the previous setup?
01:17 Hemebond Or, re-run configurator if you delete the configuration directory?
01:17 Hemebond I just get unhelpful errors.
01:20 Hemebond Setting up monitoring authentication file.AMSetupServlet.processRequest: errorjava.lang.NullPointerException
01:20 Hemebond That mean anything to anybody?

13:21 balo aldaris: who edit these pages? http://openam.forgerock.org/faq.html could you put the irc+log info into the faq?
13:53 aldaris ah, thanks for the hint, I didn't even know we have a FAQ page, which does not seem to be too helpful btw :)
13:57 balo :D yeah, it looks like a maven plugin site so I think it's generated somehow
14:01 balo lol http://totalcar.hu/magazin/gumikacsa/2013/11/14/van_damme_kamionok_kozott/
14:02 aldaris not the right channel ;)
14:04 balo true :D
14:04 balo sry
15:05 asyd hmm too bad, deployment of openwar.war doesn't work on jboss6.1-eap (jboss7)
15:05 aldaris bullshit:p
15:05 aldaris it works
15:06 aldaris it's a tested platform
15:08 asyd ok
15:08 aldaris so what is not working for you? ;)
15:09 asyd because I didn't read the documentation!
15:09 aldaris hah :)
15:25 asyd i followed https://wikis.forgerock.org/confluence/display/openam/Deploy+OpenAM+in+JBoss+AS+7 but still have lot of errors
15:27 aldaris listening
15:29 balo asyd: btw I think this is the actual version of the docs: http://docs.forgerock.org/en/openam/11.0.0/install-guide/index.html#prepare-jboss-7
15:29 asyd thanks
15:33 asyd oh wait, there are just warnings
15:34 asyd thanks
15:44 balo I updated the wiki page with the new docs

19:47 pdurbin do we expect to see 11.x here soon? http://forgerock.org/openam-archive.html ... "Archive of stable community releases"
19:48 aldaris you may expect it, but I don't
19:48 pdurbin why not?
19:48 aldaris because 11.0.0 is an "enterprise" release and not a community one
19:49 pdurbin oh. will 12.0.0 be a community release?
19:49 aldaris most likely no
19:49 pdurbin will there ever be another community release?
19:50 aldaris close future possibly no, maybe if the business model changes at some point in time, but at the moment I find it unlikely
19:57 pdurbin the openam community needs a guy like this: http://wiki.centos.org/KaranbirSingh :)
20:13 pdurbin so people can try out a free version (CentOS) and maybe someday buy the commercial version (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
20:14 aldaris well you can try out the enterprise version just as well
20:14 pdurbin how many days do you get?
20:14 aldaris the binary license states that as long as you are not using the enterprise binary in production system you should be okay
20:15 pdurbin ah, so not time-bound. that's good
20:15 aldaris you can only use the binary in production if you have a subscription with ForgeRock
20:16 pdurbin what about all the people who download and use our open source software? they would each need to buy their own subscription from ForgeRock?
20:17 aldaris this is all well detailed on the site, see FAQ at the bottom http://forgerock.com/products/subscriptions/
20:18 aldaris how should I know what your open source software is?
20:18 pdurbin aldaris: this is it: http://thedata.org and https://github.com/iqss/dvn
20:23 balo pdurbin: just compile it and you can use it in prod. Afaik they're the same.
20:24 pdurbin balo: let me see if I can get 10.0.0 working first. right now I'm still trying to get OIOSAML to go
20:31 pdurbin aldaris: thanks for the link
20:31 aldaris pdurbin: I tried to write private msg to you, but doesn't seem to work
20:34 pdurbin aldaris: sorry, I'm chatting with a guy who runs an IdP too. trying to get my SP to work

22:00 aldaris pdurbin my fedlet almost works now
23:05 aldaris joined #openam
23:18 aldaris pdurbin: SUCCESS, my fedlet just got back a nice assertion from testshib.org ;)
23:27 aldaris hmm, OPENAM-3312 is a really interesting way to ask for help…
23:52 pdurbin aldaris: oh! that's great news! are you able to zip up the fedlet and make it available for download?
23:54 pdurbin aldaris: nice reply on https://bugster.forgerock.org/jira/browse/OPENAM-3312
23:56 aldaris not zipping it up, you wouldn't learn from it ;)
23:56 aldaris I'll guide you through what I did instead
