08:31 Wusel_ morning guys
08:31 Wusel_ i try to modify the loginpage for the selfregistration
08:32 Wusel_ so i have to edit the membership.xml and membership.jsp, haven't I?
08:32 Wusel_ changing the css works, but changing the jsp/xml seems to has no effect
08:33 Wusel_ O_o
08:57 Wusel_ ok ... stupid cache of tomcat

10:42 Wusel_ is it possible to hide the universal-id when logging in as a general user?
10:43 aldaris hide from where?
10:43 Wusel_ hide from the display ;) i dont want my users to see this line
10:45 aldaris sorry I left my crystal ball at home, so I can only guess that you are referring to the EndUser page…
10:52 asyd :)
10:52 asyd you're a good wizard
10:59 Wusel_ lol sorry, of course i mean the enduser page
10:59 Wusel_ :D
11:04 aldaris well I don't see any easy way of getting rid of it
11:05 jjpp hi.
11:05 aldaris hi
11:06 jjpp doesn't modifying relevant configuration schema help to hide it? or will it break something else if uid is not there?
11:06 aldaris amUser.xml doesn't seem to have anything related for UUID
11:06 * jjpp thinks . o O ( letting users access that page does not seem to be a good idea anyway.. )
11:06 aldaris and if you look at EndUserViewBean you can see that the universal ID is manually put in there
11:07 jjpp hm, okay. that will make it somewhat more difficult indeed.. :)
11:07 aldaris and it seems some parts of the code actually relies on having the universal id to perform changes
11:07 aldaris or maybe I'm just misreading the code :)
11:08 aldaris it's a bit early for me for this :)
11:08 jjpp uid as such is necessary and has a point of course.. the idea was that maybe having it listed in schema is not necessary but I did not check the schema or code..
11:09 aldaris uid != uuid
11:10 jjpp hm. okay, true.
11:12 jjpp i think we used something in uuid format as uid in our case, so the distinction tends to get forgotten.. :)
11:14 Wusel_ i won't lose my head if it's still visible, i just thought it could be hidden
11:16 jjpp it could be that you can hide it with some clever css (relying on the fact that it is always the first field). but I have no time to dig in there to check this either.

12:08 Wusel_ jjpp: you're right, with last-of-type it's possible :)
12:13 Wusel_ next task: change login from username/password to email/password
12:13 aldaris joined #openam
12:14 Wusel_ I'll try, maybe I can manage it by my own ;)

21:50 Wusel_ is it possible to make openam accessable from "inside" and "outside"? means from two different domains? I added 2 cookiedomains but the webinterface is always redirecting me to the outside-address
21:50 aldaris it is possible
21:50 aldaris you can set up a realm alias
21:50 aldaris or you can set up an fqdnmap
21:51 aldaris basically AM has to know about the URL you want to access it on
21:54 Wusel_ oh no, i deleted the wrong alias
21:54 Wusel_ xD
21:54 MegaMatt don't save! ;)
21:54 aldaris good thing almost every form has a reset button :p
21:55 Wusel_ too late lol
21:56 Wusel_ does this work?
21:56 Wusel_ https://lists.forgerock.org/pipermail/openam/2011-September/003513.html
21:57 aldaris yeah, that should work

22:10 Wusel_ aldaris: stupid question, but where is the ssoadm when I built the OpenAM 11 with maven from src?
22:10 aldaris openam-distribution/openam-distribution-ssoadmintools
22:11 Wusel_ merci
22:11 Wusel_ :)
22:21 Wusel_ mhhh
22:21 Wusel_ unknown subcommand
22:21 aldaris what did you try?
22:22 Wusel_ sudo ./ssoadm set-realm-attr -e / -s sunIdentityRepositoryService -u amadmin -f .pass -p -a sunOrganizationAliases=domain.de
22:22 aldaris why the sudo?
22:22 aldaris how about set-realm-attrs?
22:23 Wusel_ because only the tomcat-user has writepermission to the configdir
22:23 Wusel_ oh
22:23 aldaris what configdir? ssoadm doesn't write to OpenAM stuff
22:23 aldaris it only reads the bootstrap file
22:24 Wusel_ idk, it just said permission denied
22:24 aldaris yeah, the bootstrap file has 400 by default
22:30 Wusel_ soi have to use sudo
