09:54 kala hello
09:55 kala This awesome new way to query OpenAM authentication modules over the REST/JSON interface (http://openam.forgerock.org/openam-documentation/openam-doc-source/doc/webhelp/dev-guide/rest-api-auth-json.html) ... it seems that the JSON replies doesn't give us the attribute "header" of the callbacks?
10:04 aldaris joined #openam
10:06 kala so, for example, the LDAP modules reports errors in the header field:
10:06 kala <Callbacks length="0" order="3" timeout="120" header=" Your password has expired. Please contact service desk to reset your password" error="true" />
10:06 kala there's no way to get this text over the /openam/json/authenticate interface?
10:09 aldaris looks like those are missing
10:09 aldaris please raise a bug

11:04 khushildep Hey all. Can I ask OpenIG questions here? Or where should I take them? I’m getting a No enum constant org.forgerock.json.jose.jws.JwsAlgorithm.HmacSHA256 which I’m trying to trace down.

12:31 kala aldaris: hmm.
12:33 aldaris khushidep, that's a bit relevant to AM as well
12:34 aldaris you are using OpenID connect with HmacSHA256 signed id_token aren't you
12:37 kala aldaris: can you tell me, under which directory the source code for these interfaces are?
12:37 aldaris forgerock-rest project
12:37 aldaris AuthenticationService I think
12:37 aldaris RestAuthenticationService?
12:40 aldaris openam-forgerock-rest module I mean
12:40 aldaris not the forgerock-rest commons project
12:40 kala aha
12:42 kala but I still don't get it
12:42 kala http://sources.forgerock.org/changelog/~br=trunk/openam/trunk/openam/openam-rest?max=30&view=fe should be close?
12:43 aldaris http://sources.forgerock.org/browse/~br=trunk/openam/trunk/openam/openam-forgerock-rest
12:43 kala ah, why I din't see that :)

18:34 balo another tricky question: can i use the oauth2 auth module with the rest api? :D
18:35 aldaris that doesn't quite make sense
18:35 balo i know it's sounds far from real use case
18:35 balo i'd like to do logins from script just to tackle down an issue
18:36 balo but i guess i have to play with selenium or sg
18:38 aldaris actually, I'm not even sure that the oauth2 auth module works at all in the nightly build with XUI (which uses the REST auth API)
18:39 balo i'm on 11.0
18:39 balo with a few custom patches
18:40 balo i guess you are busy then... :)
18:41 balo i'm curious how you will solve the redirectcallback with REST

19:48 khushildep Hey all - I’m trying to checkout trunk anonymously but it keeps asking me for username/password?
19:48 MegaMatt you’re using the wrong version of svn then
19:48 MegaMatt use an older version
19:48 balo or use svn export
19:48 MegaMatt or search the wiki/email alias for other solutions, as it comes up a lot
19:49 balo somebody on the mailing list recommended it
19:49 MegaMatt export works as well
19:49 MegaMatt indeed
