10:53 kala aldaris: hello. This manual page (http://openam.forgerock.org/openam-documentation/openam-doc-source/doc/install-guide/index/chap-install-multiple.html#configure-sites) mentions that laod balancer should inspect the cookie "amlbcookie" to distribute load among OpenAM servers. Does this apply to DAS (DAUI) servers or OpenAM servers?
10:54 kala there's also this DistAuthLBCookie ...
11:01 aldaris distauthlbcookie is quite customizable IIRC
11:01 aldaris you should modify each DAS to create a different cookie

11:47 kala aldaris: "you should modify each DAS to create a different cookie" ... you mean the content of the cookie? like they taught in the old opensso days? http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19316-01/820-5985/ghfgg/index.html
11:50 aldaris each DAS config can define a different cookie name/value
11:50 aldaris then configure the LB to provide persistence based on the cookie
11:54 kala based on solely the existence of the cookie itself, not the contents?
11:55 aldaris whatever is simpler for you, normally people use the same cookie name with different values
11:55 kala right
12:08 kala so ... I can do load sharing of the DAS site based on the DistAuthLBCookieName ... but the "amlbcookie" gets also sent to the client ... Is this true that once the client sends back the request to the DAS server, it also sends the "amlbcookie" and the DAS then sends this to the OpenAM servers as well and load balancers can use that to route the request to the correct OpenAM server?
