20:51 sbrooks9 I'm trying to integrate openam and webseal. Is the tamauthnfilter project still a good way to do this? I can't find a lot of documentation on the integration, except for whitepapers that say the two compliment one another nicely.
20:53 MegaMatt I’m not familiar with webseal - sorry
21:06 MegaMatt Does webseal do SAML?

21:11 juanluis Hi anyone knows if this procedure https://wikis.forgerock.org/confluence/display/openam/Logging+to+a+Database works on Oracle 12c and Oracle 11g ?
21:11 fatbloke joined #openam
21:13 MegaMatt Is there a reason why it wouldn’t, Juanluis?
21:13 juanluis I don't know if driver should be  added like it says here https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19575-01/820-3886/ghjbt/index.html
21:14 juanluis To configure logging to DB, add the JDBC driver files to the web container's JVM classpath. You need to manually add JDBC driver files to the classpath of the ssoadm script, otherwise ssoadm logging can not load the JDBC driver.
21:14 MegaMatt on the wiki page you linked, it also says “and JDBC driver (e.g. ojdbc6.jar) is deployed into the web container."
21:15 juanluis sure but I was looking in Oracle webpage and there's a jdbc for every Oracle DB version
21:15 MegaMatt So use the jdbc that goes with your db version?
21:16 MegaMatt I think really the ojdbc6.jar is for java 6 - and hence the 6
21:17 MegaMatt And ojdbc7 is java 7 -> oracle 12
21:17 juanluis ok so adding jdbc is not a big issue, thanks Megamatt, BTW OpenAM 12 is coming out in a couple of weeks!
21:17 MegaMatt I hope so !
21:18 sbrooks9 yes, webseal does use SAML. Webseal is also called Tivoli Access manager if you're more familiar with it being called that.
21:19 MegaMatt I’m not to familiar with any of the IBM products, to be honest… But if it does SAML then you can probably set up a CoT
21:19 sbrooks9 What does CoT stand for? sorry
21:19 MegaMatt Circle of Trust
21:20 sbrooks9 Oh, gotcha. I seen that in the OpenAM settings.
21:23 MegaMatt Did you read the Federation docs? http://openam.forgerock.org/openam-documentation/openam-doc-source/doc/webhelp/admin-guide/chap-federation.html
21:26 sbrooks9 I'll read through that more thoroughly and see if I can figure it out. Thanks!
