13:26 auke- Hi! I'm experiencing a loop in the DistAuth webapp with an error similar to OPENAM-593, but with OpenAM 12 in a loadbalanced environment. At some point the DistAuth webapp stays in the while loop in Requests.getSessionResponseWithRetry and resends the same SessionRequest over and over again. Any pointers how to fix or debug this issue?
13:32 aldaris auke- https://bugster.forgerock.org/jira/browse/OPENAM-5835 - see code review
13:37 auke- aldaris: thanks!

20:43 insanidade hi all
20:44 insanidade I just uninstalled an openam server but forgot removing the agent from the other weblogic instance before doing so ... now I can't start that other instance up.
20:44 insanidade any hints on how to undeploy the agent?
20:45 insanidade in other words: how to undeploy an application from a stopped weblogic instance?
20:46 balo http://docs.forgerock.org/en/openam-pa/3.5.0/jee-users-guide/index.html#uninstall-weblogic-agent
20:46 balo ?
20:57 crabmeat joined #openam
20:59 insanidade balo: that requires weblogic to be started up. I can't start it up because the agent looks for the already destroyed server.
20:59 insanidade when the agent can't find the server, it forbids its weblogic instance from starting up.
21:05 balo oh that's interesting. i'm not familiar with the weblogic agent. Maybe check the code what it's doing with the weblogic and undo that
21:05 balo i'm not sure why the agent would ping the openam server on uninstall
21:11 insanidade not on uninstall
21:12 insanidade the weblogic instance where the agent is running is down.
21:12 insanidade when I try to start it up, it looks for the server.
21:12 insanidade the server does not exist - I have uninstalled it.
21:13 balo but for uninstall, the weblogic server must be down (where the agent is installed)
21:13 insanidade so, the weblogic instance where the agent runs can't start up because the agent looks for the server, fails to find it and forbids weblogic to go up.
21:14 insanidade yes but my weblogic agent instance was down when I removed the server.
21:14 balo that's ok, but just run the uninstall when the weblogic server is down. the uninstall process should not look for the openam instance iirc
21:14 balo that's also should not cause any problems
21:14 insanidade the uninstall script looks for a running weblogic instance
21:15 insanidade well, actually, I was able to run it.
21:15 insanidade but not sure if it was removed. the same error message remains in weblogic when trying to start it up
21:16 balo the doc starting with the instruction to shut down weblogic before you uninstall the agent. so that's ok.
21:16 balo can you upload the error to pastebin?
21:17 balo i'd also try to look for openam configs in weblogic's config directory
21:17 insanidade balo: I just pasted the uninstall script output: http://pastebin.com/02rzgL8Y
21:17 balo (it's usually saves the original version when you install so you can diff it)
21:18 balo probably the jar is not there anymore, other than that, seems normal. what's causing weblogic fail to start?
21:19 insanidade here goes the weblogic console error message when trying to start it up: http://pastebin.com/mJL14hQL
21:20 balo i'd run a search for this class com.sun.identity.agents.weblogic.v10.AmWLAuthProvider
21:21 balo maybe some config still contains it. or an agent webapp is still deployed
21:21 balo make sure your web.xml is not containing anything related
21:22 balo but probably it's still in the weblogic domain's config xml
21:28 aldaris joined #openam
21:29 insanidade it's not ;/
23:03 insanidade is there a way I could reset all configuration data in a previous installation?
23:03 insanidade I just upgraded from 11.0.3 to 12.0.0 and I'd like to reset previous configuration
