21:56 moat_joe Can someone point me towards install instructions for ubuntu 15.10? Seems the installer is really hung up on wanting a httpd.conf (and it won't accept my apache2.conf).
21:57 MegaMatt For the web agent?
21:57 moat_joe Correct, for the web agent
21:58 MegaMatt Shouldn’t be anything really different for ubuntu.....
21:58 moat_joe This is the question asked by the installer:
21:58 MegaMatt Most common thing I’ve seen is people trying to install a 2.2 apache agent on a 2.4 apache
21:58 moat_joe Enter the complete path to the httpd.conf file which is used by Apache HTTP Server to store its configuration.
21:58 moat_joe ubuntu does not have a httpd.conf, it has an apache2.conf
21:59 moat_joe but maybe it does some checking of the file to make sure it's valid?
22:00 MegaMatt I see it as “Apache Server Config Directory” — which wants like : /path/to/apache22/conf
22:01 MegaMatt So I’d either try just the directory name
22:01 MegaMatt or make a symlink named httpd.conf and point it to apache2.conf to see if that works
22:04 moat_joe /etc/apache2 does not work, and I symlinked /etc/apache2/httpd.conf to /etc/apache2/apache2.conf, also does not work
22:33 moat_joe after building apache2 from source I was able to get an error transcript log which ends with:
22:33 moat_joe 2015-11-18 17:26:23  net_ssl_msg_callback(): SSL negotiation finished successfully (SSLOK )
22:33 moat_joe 2015-11-18 17:26:23  installation error
22:33 moat_joe 2015-11-18 17:26:23  installation exit
22:33 moat_joe but no useful error message
