08:36 FireBurn|Work Hi again
08:36 FireBurn|Work that backported fix stop the JWS error appearing during logon
08:36 aldaris excellent
08:36 FireBurn|Work Now I just get a bog standard password wrong message :'(
08:37 aldaris you are not having too much luck, are you
08:37 FireBurn|Work this only happens after I change the cookie either using sso and com.iplanet.am.cookie.name or via the admin console
08:37 FireBurn|Work *ssoadm
08:38 FireBurn|Work If I change the cookie back to iPlanetDirectoryPro everything works again
08:38 aldaris do you have any existing cookies lying around?
08:39 FireBurn|Work I'm using incongnito tabs so no
08:40 aldaris hmm
08:40 aldaris very strange
08:40 aldaris what do you see on the dev console?
08:40 FireBurn|Work If I chnage it via the admin console and log out I can log back in, its only once I close the incongnito tab down clearing the cookie that I get issues
08:40 FireBurn|Work Dev console?
08:40 aldaris browser's dev console
08:40 aldaris I believe changing the cookie name requires a restart
08:41 FireBurn|Work Hmm I've not tried doing the restarts since applying that fix, one mo
08:47 FireBurn|Work You are a star :D
08:47 FireBurn|Work Looks like with that backported fix and a restart it all works finally (till the next thing doesnt)
08:49 FireBurn|Work I still haven't figured out why OpenDJ/DS doesn't initalise properly using a clean build
08:50 aldaris are you happy debugging source code?
08:54 FireBurn|Work I'm no java developer
08:54 FireBurn|Work I'm currently diffing the two generates wars to see if there were any files missing
08:55 FireBurn|Work Thats how I discovered the smnt stuff not being present
08:55 FireBurn|Work But now it is there it's still not working
09:38 FireBurn|Work joined #openam
09:38 FireBurn|Work joined #openam
09:40 FireBurn|Work So all the files are exist in both wars (appart from two files that have a sha key tagged on the end, but their contents are exactly the same)
09:40 FireBurn|Work The classes are different for all the pre-compiled stuff
09:40 FireBurn|Work so binary comparisons don't really work
09:41 FireBurn|Work The only big difference now is the jre used to compile 1.7.0_79 (precompiled) vs 1.8.0_121 (compiled by me)

10:46 FireBurn|Work Is there a way to build org.forgerock.openam:javadoc-utils ?

14:04 FireBurn|Work Any idea why create-policy doesn't work with ssoadm?
14:06 aldaris did you patch OPENAM-8531?
14:13 FireBurn|Work I think I dropped it again, but I'll readd it
14:13 FireBurn|Work Any others?
14:13 aldaris that's the main one I could think of
14:13 aldaris you would need to patch both AM and ssoadm with the updated binary
14:15 FireBurn|Work Will do
14:20 FireBurn|Work Thanks
14:21 FireBurn|Work Do you have a public branch ofr javadoc-utils?
14:22 FireBurn|Work That's the only jar I'm importing into my maven repo now, everything else is built from source or puled from open repos
14:24 aldaris that's only needed for release builds I suppose
14:25 FireBurn|Work Looks like it's tiny
14:25 aldaris not much point of having it, it is only used to generate *public* javadocs as opposed to complete Javadocs
14:25 aldaris you could change the POM to not use that taglet/doclet
14:37 FireBurn|Work joined #openam
14:38 FireBurn|Work I think I'll just keep manually importing the jar for now
14:38 FireBurn|Work Thought it is CDDL licenced so it probably should be open
14:39 aldaris the binary is not directly made available, the build pulls it in and the final build result won't include it. It is an edge case, but theoretically as you have the binary in the end you shall have the source too
14:50 FireBurn|Work Also the OpenDJ issue was due to compiling with java8
14:50 FireBurn|Work Just did the exact same with java7 and bang it works
14:50 aldaris good to know!
15:05 FireBurn|Work With OPENAM-8531 applied, everything rebuilt, reinstalled and using the new ssoadm I still get the same error when creating a policy https://pastebin.com/r2fwfqGK
15:08 MegaMatt Are you using create-xacml ?
15:08 MegaMatt And patched OPENAM-8495 ?
15:08 FireBurn|Work No create-policy
15:09 FireBurn|Work create-policies rather
15:10 MegaMatt Shouldn’t it be ssoadm create-xacml -v -e /whatever -u amadmin -X policies -f ~/pass.txt
15:12 FireBurn|Work Is there a way to convert from xml to xacml?
15:38 aldaris joined #openam
15:57 FireBurn|Work Were referal policies removed from OpenAM?
16:01 FireBurn|Work Yip :(
16:01 FireBurn|Work They joys of upgrading from v8 eh?
