03:00 ofzach I will be doing a lot of cleaning up first, but trying to bring over all the pieces from the nightly into this, then bring it all back to the main OF repo

03:01 ofzach the main thing will be one big settings xml that says if the app is multi platform or not, i.e.  nightly or user-facing

03:07 ofzach at the moment, the xml parsing is really like kungfu -- xpath makes it bearable, but it's not really an ideal solution
03:07 admsyn alright, I'll take a look at porting XcodeEditor, maybe taking some notes from that weirdo xcodeutils one
03:08 admsyn XcodeEditor looks to be well maintained / used, just judging from github stars and commit activity
03:08 ofzach I've looked at the auto make tools (like cmake etc) but they only just make projects, not really parse or have a good internal model of the project file
03:09 admsyn yeah and that's pretty crucial if the PG is going to be more than an initial "fire and forget" kind of thing
03:09 ofzach yeah like adding an add-on to a project that already exists, etc
03:09 admsyn fwiw I'm like 90% of the way to making an Xcode Plugin that does it :)

17:16 jvcleave OpenNI will as well but has the ability to do Skeleton Tracking when you use Nite with it
17:16 jvcleave those are the main differences - OpenNI2 doesn't work with the Kinect on the Mac
