16:41 LCID_Fire are you using a modified version of Poco? I cannot seem to get PriorityEvent<void> compiling.

17:06 tgfrerer LCID_Fire: yes - if you attempt to compile poco straight from source - you'll run into a couple of surprises.
17:06 LCID_Fire tgfrerer, may I ask why?
17:07 tgfrerer it's mainly because a couple of changes have been added to the header by ofarturo - to allow openframeworks to get priority events
17:07 tgfrerer if you use the latest version of apothecary, these patches should be applied automatically for you:
17:08 tgfrerer https://github.com/danomatika/apothecary
17:08 tgfrerer this should help you build poco for openframeworks...
17:08 tgfrerer i'm curious why you are rebuilding ... any particular reason ?
17:09 LCID_Fire tgfrerer, I am trying to port OF and cannot find your ancient poco sources.
17:10 LCID_Fire I seriously don't understand why proxing and deriving could not solve the problem for you
17:11 tgfrerer they are not *my* ancient poco sources =) check out the poco recipie in apothecary - the sources are there, and the patches.
17:12 LCID_Fire tgfrerer, yes, seems like copy and paste
17:12 tgfrerer hm?
17:13 LCID_Fire specialization of templates and a few ifdefs. I am kind of shocked - need a minute
17:17 LCID_Fire ok, I now got it to compile with nearly upstream headers.

21:00 lindseymysse Hey guys. I'm just getting started with OF, running on Ubuntu 13.04 with Code::Blocks.
21:00 lindseymysse When I load the examples, they compile just fine
21:01 lindseymysse but when they are running there are no graphics (but text)
21:01 lindseymysse I get the error:
21:01 lindseymysse [warning] ofGstVideoUtils: update(): ofGstVideoUtils not loaded
21:02 lindseymysse All of the other graphic examples give me the same error.
21:03 lindseymysse What's odd, is in the 3D primitive's example, I can turn on the axes-- that renders fine. As does the text...
21:03 lindseymysse Anybody run into this problem before?
