15:14 laserpilot does anyone know the proper way to deal with a vector of fbo's in OF? when i push back it doesn't copy, the fbo just gets overwritten

18:00 admsyn looks like it's good to go?
18:08 ofarturo1 yes, i'm not sure if we should merge it given that this is a bugfix only release but being something so small i think it's ok

20:14 tgfrerer laserpilot: re: vector of fbos - use std::shared_ptr<ofFbo> or ofPtr<ofFbo> to point to your fbos, make a vector of these smart pointers.
20:15 laserpilot ah nice, thanks! i have been doing it by re-allocating a temp fbo in my loop and that works as well, just worried about wasting resources
20:19 ofarturo1 yes ofFbo has shallow copy semantics so no need for pointers you can pass it around by copy and it'll always reference the original
20:19 ofarturo1 indeed all GL objects in OF do
20:20 ofarturo1 also everything that is not a data container, ofVideoGrabber, player, ofSoundPlayer...
20:22 tgfrerer =)
20:22 laserpilot thanks guys

20:34 tgfrerer really enjoying the new forum, btw \o/ !
20:34 admsyn yeah it's great :)
20:35 admsyn all, like, not 2003
20:35 tgfrerer it feels very much *2013* =)
20:40 pizthewiz In full!
20:51 pizthewiz laserpilot: so bizarre that your GLUT window stuff works. Maybe the difference is the target machine, mine is running 10.8.2
20:54 laserpilot yeah maybe
20:54 laserpilot i had the glut working in 10.8.5
20:54 laserpilot or maybe 10.8.4…i forget when that project was
20:54 laserpilot sometime in september
20:57 pizthewiz Bit of a hassle to dig things up now no doubt :0)

21:17 dantheman yo
21:22 admsyn laserpilot: pizthewiz: do either of you have access to a 10.9 to test on?
21:22 pizthewiz Not headless unfortunately
21:22 admsyn they changed a bunch of multi-monitor stuff, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine something having changed there
21:22 pizthewiz I think @laserpilot said his machine was running 10.9 though
21:23 * pizthewiz has Mac Mini on 10.8.2, iMac on 10.8.5 and MacBook Pro on 10.9.*
21:24 * admsyn is all latest all the time ????
21:24 admsyn omg italic emoji works on adium
21:24 dantheman he has a 10.8 machine if he wants it

22:20 egradman okay, this is killing me.  I can happily (and I mean *happily*) build OF apps for Android using ADT on my Mac.  From the ADT console, it looks like its just calling "make Release PLATFORM_OS=Android".  So I do this from the command line, it compiles successfully but doesn't generate an apk!
22:22 pizthewiz I've never built for Android, but could you compare the output from the ADT console a little more carefully? Could make from a shell be building to a different location?
22:23 egradman There aren't any built apks anywhere in the OF tree.
22:23 egradman But yeah, I tried to gather some clues from the output.
22:30 ofarturo make only builds the c++ code the apk is built when you press the run button in ADT
22:31 egradman is there a way to generate the apk from the command line?
22:35 ofarturo you can use ant + adb but don't remember how it works exactly
22:35 ofarturo the makefile has an install rule but not sure if it still works
22:35 ofarturo you can try with make install PLATFORM_OS=Android
22:40 rlyeh joined #openframeworks
22:40 egradman make install PLATFORM_OS=Android fails (and, suspiciously it says "installing on darwin-x86" shortly before doing so)
22:40 rlyeh hi
22:42 admsyn rlyeh: hi
22:47 rlyeh is there any workaround to get ofx compiling on vs2013?
