17:28 OliverUv Hello! After running the linux setup scripts, I can compile and run example projects, so things seem to work ok. I can't compile the projectGenerator, though, but would like to learn how all the makefile things fit together anyway.
17:32 OliverUv i'm correct in assuming that running make should always properly build an app, as long as addons have been added to addons.make ?
17:33 OliverUv i don't really know what config.make is for, is that where we would ordinarily place our makefile targets if we hadn't been using openFrameworks?
17:33 OliverUv also: what is OF_ROOT ? will it always be the location where I unpacked the oF tar?

17:35 ofarturo yes any example with a makefile, config.make and addons.make ( if it has addons) can be compiled by running make
17:35 ofarturo config.make is the file where you can add additional search paths or libraries, unless you are using an external library you shouldn't need it
17:36 ofarturo and OF_ROOT is the path to where you uncompressed OF, you can move a project around as long as OF_ROOT is correct

17:44 OliverUv also: it looks like OF_ROOT/scripts/linux/template/linux64/ contains an appropriate starting template for empty projects. Is this what people recommend beginners to use?

19:33 Makio64 ( the texture is allocated by code and every pixel fill with 255 value then the image is update() and draw

21:31 pizthewiz I've noticed that the programmable renderer is a little wonky on OS X on v0.8.0 but seems to be ironed out on master
21:32 pizthewiz Errant alpha handling - though the same stuff on Raspberry Pi 0.8.0 was good, so… master it is!
