16:53 hlolli Im trying to set up open framworks in Eclipse, Im following the tutorial on the website. In section e) it says that I should set location for external tool configuration for projectGenertatorSimple, but when I tell eclipse to use ..../apps/projectGenerator/projectGeneratorSimple/bin/projectGeneratorSimple it tells me back that this needs to be a specific file but not a directory. Maybe an error in the tutorial?

17:30 mikewesthad hey all
17:30 mikewesthad i've got what I think is a general openFrameworks graphics pipeline question
17:31 kikko_fr joined #openframeworks
17:33 mikewesthad I posted a bug to the forums (http://forum.openframeworks.cc/t/ofsetcolor-r-g-b-a-bug-when-alpha-1/14903), but I'm trying to track down the cause of it myself.  So, I'm stumbling around through the ofGLRenderer code to trace what happens when a circle is drawn after setting the draw color's alpha value of 1.  I don't see anything that would cause the problem in drawCircle or in setColor.

17:34 mikewesthad So my question is, what gl functions are called behind the scenes of an ofBaseApp?

18:01 Razorien What's the easiest way to rotate an ofImage an arbitrary amount of degrees?
18:02 Razorien (around it's own center)
18:06 mikewesthad ofTranslate and ofRotate would be what I'd do
18:07 mikewesthad What are you doing at the moment?
18:07 Razorien So push matrix->translate->rotate->translate->pop matrix?
18:08 mikewesthad Your second translate is ofTranslate(-imgWidth/2, -imgHeight/2)?
18:08 Razorien I'm setting the image anchor to 0.5 with the percent method then doing the above.
18:09 Razorien The first translate is to get it to 0, 0 and the second to put it back to the original location.
18:09 Razorien Is that incorrect?
18:10 Razorien Sorry, the first to get the anchor point to 0, 0
18:10 mikewesthad Have you seen the example on the doc page: http://openframeworks.cc/documentation/graphics/ofImage.html#show_setAnchorPercent?
18:10 mikewesthad sorry - http://openframeworks.cc/documentation/graphics/ofImage.html#show_setAnchorPercent
18:12 Razorien That's quite different from my attempt, I'll try that thanks. :)
18:13 mikewesthad so if your anchor point is set to the center of the image earlier in your code, then push, translate, rotate, draw at (0,0) and pop would be sufficient
18:13 mikewesthad np
18:13 Razorien Yeah, I seem to ve gotten it all wrong before. Cheers!
18:14 mikewesthad Does it make sense why the first attempt didn't work?
