21:10 admsyn so you're attempting to construct the donut image out of individual frames and then create the rectilinear version from that?

21:13 admsyn that might be overcomplicating it, unless I'm missing something :) I think the route to go down is just photo stitching?

21:14 admsyn there's an opencv module for exactly that I'm pretty sure
21:14 stephanschulz i do know the pan and tilt and zoom values of every "image" or video feed
21:15 stephanschulz that should help me to figure out where to place the image/video

21:17 stephanschulz but i was hoping to find something that i can supply the image and my PTZ info, it would place it into some sort of transformation matrix and 123 larger image is updated :)
21:19 admsyn it's quite possible someone's made something that does it magically like that.. realistically I'd assume you'll have to at least take the ptz information into account yourself
21:20 stephanschulz that why i thought about the sphere and how angles get mapped on to a sphere

21:26 admsyn if you think about it the standard handheld panorama is kind of the same deal with regards to images on a sphere sorta-kinda
