13:33 radiodario my ofEasyCam has randomly started trhowing EXC_BAD_ACCESS (code=1, address=0xc)
13:33 radiodario it wasn't happening before, and it doesn't happen if i comment out the camera

13:34 radiodario also it doensn't happen on other examples, only when I use the camera, even if there's nothing around it

17:16 jacres radiodario: unfortunately, you'll have to jump fairly deep into working with shaders and buffers + attributes to get that going
17:16 jacres radiodario: for the normal mapping, you need to calculate tangent and binormal vectors for each vertex (this has to be done on CPU side) - or can be provided with a model that you're loading in
17:17 jacres radiodario: the tangent and binormal vectors need to be then set up as custom attributes on a vbo or other buffer that you're using, so that they can be accessible in the shader

17:17 jacres radiodario: a specular map is a lot easier - it's just a texture that you can use to control specular level/shininess in your phong implementation
17:18 jacres radiodario: the only problem is that like you said, in order to implement these things, you really have to start from the ground up and go completely custom for your shaders (handle all transformations, texturing, lighting, etc.) just to get back to the same base level that OF provides
17:19 jacres radiodario: so it's a lot of work :) But, if you're not in a rush, you'll get a lot out of it if you're interested in learning a lot more about graphics programming
