00:02 GuidovanPossum hey modeSelect I had something happen similar with audio, what video format are you using?
00:12 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, hi. I was using 2 examples in the oF distribution.
00:13 modeSelect Both grabbing video from my built-in webcam.
00:13 modeSelect I'm wondering if it could even be a driver issue?
00:13 modeSelect I'm on Ubuntu.
00:14 GuidovanPossum oh me too, well Debian and Ubuntu both, but I don't have a webcam on my Ubuntu rig
00:15 GuidovanPossum I'll see what happens on this one though one sec
00:19 GuidovanPossum well on Debian the videoGrabberExample ran fine for me, sorry wish I could help more
00:20 GuidovanPossum is there a way you can run the program in debug to see what's causing the crash

00:42 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, hey I didn't see your messages. Sorry. Yeah, some kind of error occurs.
00:43 GuidovanPossum can you see what error pops up and copy and paste it?
00:44 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, the console doesn't allow copy paste :x
00:44 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, it's a gstreamer error.
00:44 modeSelect I'll try again.
00:45 GuidovanPossum use control+shift+c
00:45 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, thanks. (cameraLensOffsetExample_debug:10585): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_mini_object_unref: assertion 'mini_object->refcount > 0' failed
00:45 GuidovanPossum you should just have to add the shift do do most commands in console
00:46 modeSelect I've got a MATE system with like 3 terminals, lol.
00:47 modeSelect Also coming back to Linux after a long hiatus.
00:59 GuidovanPossum I see where a few of people have had the same problem but I'm not certain of the fix
01:02 GuidovanPossum I did find this in a wiki:   In case of error GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_mini_object_unref: assertion `mini_object->refcount > 0' failed which usually occurs when recording video through recording software, install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to fix.
01:04 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, hey I'll try that. Thanks!
01:04 GuidovanPossum you're welcome good luck!
01:17 GuidovanPossum I think I figured out my earlier question, I believe I can use an ITU-R 468 noise weighing curve once I figure out how to insert the curve formula into my program

01:23 modeSelect GuidovanPossum, it seems that it's fixed in the master on github. :)
01:23 modeSelect Thanks again.
01:26 GuidovanPossum nice find!
01:28 modeSelect Indeed.
01:28 * modeSelect bows to the oF community.
