16:31 mohawk nine_, my thinking is that we'd want to get more confidence in the robustness of I::P5
16:34 mohawk i suppose a first go would be to have P6 use I::P5 to load each P5 module, then separately to load and run each P5-module *.t file which I assume would go via P6?
16:34 mohawk is my assumption right?
17:51 nine_ mohawk: simply running the *.t files via I::P5 would only exercise the run method. That's a tiny part of I::P5. It's on the same level as having a shell script wrapper for the perl binary. Just not exciting.
18:00 mohawk ok
18:01 mohawk has anyone had a go at p5->p6 auto translation?
18:01 mohawk is there a p6 test::more?
18:01 leont There is a Test.pm, which is limited but useful
18:02 leont I'm working on a Test::More with a more flexible backend, but that's rather non-standard right now
18:07 mohawk nice work
18:07 mohawk i'm thinking of having *.t6 files as part of a p5 distrib
18:10 nine_ I probably should do the same for mine :)
18:11 leont That would enable TAP::Harness(v5) to know it could run them with p6, though that shouldn'te enabled by default obviously
18:14 nine_ At least at first..
18:22 mohawk leont, like the idea of *.t6 = p6 test file?
